This audio really dives deep into barbell training from a scientific perspective. I loved all the science that the author included, and it went beyond what you can find online. I found this book to be super helpful! As a newbie to barbell training the book offered a lot of good tips on different types of workouts, all in easy to understand, non-technical language. The book also goes into some other aspects of training that I hadn’t really considered including mindset, goal-setting, and journaling your workouts. Definitely recommend!

Since 2020, I've been working out at home, and I have needed some guidance. This book really help me understand some of the finer point of barbell training that I've been missing. It's also a great primer for someone who is just starting out. Excellent narration as well.

I found this book very useful. You can't just go into the gym without a plan. You sure as hell can't have results without a proper mindset and form. The way you eat also plays a key factor in your gym goals. This book helped me with all of these things and more.
