Augie doesn't know what STC does, or why they've sent him a gazillion recruitment flyers. But they're offering a huge salary and training in the Caribbean. Unfortunately, that training will turn out to be a shipwreck on Supersize Island. Cue the giant squirrel, parrot, and possum.

Such a fun, well written story!

I loved this book! It was so well crafted, it kept me riveted all the way through! There were quite a few laugh out loud moments and the narration really brought the characters to life! I highly recommend the audio book, but I think I want to experience it again on paper. I hope JJ Walsh publishes a sequel because I would love to know what happens next!

GM-Oh my god!

What a trip this was! Fast paced, funny, and a little heartfelt. Going just by the premise, I’m glad I got to experience this with no other knowledge, and I’d advise others to do the same, The surprises on this island are utterly bonkers. The performance was also well done, a couple of the accents fell short, but not enough to take me out of the story. Really looking forward to the further adventures of Augie!

Funny little action romp

This was a really nice commute listen. Some unexpected twists and turns, good laughs, nothing too heavy.

Fun Ride

This book is absolutely absurd in the best possible way! The story is a fun ride. This is’t a book where you will learn a deep message. It’s a funny fun crazy ride. Luke Daniels does a fantastic job narrating.

it's ridiculous but fun

Have Fun! The story about as absurd and overstuffed as anything could be and that's the point. Be ready to laugh and enjoy the ride.

The beefiest of stories I've ever devoured!

When I get into a book that I enjoy from the start, I try to pace myself. But Supersized Island... I couldn't wait to listen to the next chapter...and I couldn't put it down till a chapter was finished.

You see, I really only listen to audible books when I'm in my car. And I really don't drive much these days. But I made excuses to drive just to listen to this book. Not only is it funny, but the story and mystery is compelling. And the deaths of secondary characters are hilarious! And in the back of my mind I know the 2 main characters are gonna survive....but how? These guys are the 2 luckiest SoB's in the history of the world! And it never gets boring.

Also the choice of actor to read all the characters is a great choice. Luke Daniels does an amazing job at making all the characters sound different. If there's a sequel...he has to read it.

Also a side note...I found myself eating a lot of burgers during my listening time. You may gain a pound or 2 by the end. But definitely worth it.

Good book and a fun ride! I'll definitely listen to it again. Hopefully there is a sequel in the future!

Bioengineering gone wacky! Great characters, interesting look into the future? Just don’t get to attached to any one lol

It's a cheeky survival horror...I laughed and enjoyed it

was definitely worth a credit, kept me entertained while driving around. looking forward to seeing where the characters go :)
