Stranded tells the gripping story of brothers Ben and Barney Pepper as they embark on a daring journey through a mysterious portal to a completely new and uncharted world.

What awaits them on the other side is a breathtaking world teeming with colossal mammals and never-before-seen dinosaurs, a true Eden lost to time.

As the group navigates this perilous new realm, tensions rise as differing agendas emerge. Ben Pepper wants to preserve and safeguard this idyllic, if savage, land. Other members of the jump team seek to exploit its resources.

In a riveting blend of adventure, discovery, and moral reckoning, Stranded is a thrilling exploration of human nature set against the backdrop of a world beyond imagination. Will the group find a way to return from this Lost Eden, or will their conflicting agendas lead to irreversible consequences?

Contains a special note from the author and a sneak preview of book two.

Enjoyed the audiobook. Narrator was a little strange at times! But I enjoyed being able to listen to the story.

Shawn Inman never disappoints, with his imaginative well written prose. He does an amazing job painting his story canvas with well chosen words. I love the diversity and concrete definition of his characters.
And I love, love, love his narrator, Jonathon McClain! He brings the characters to life with his genuineness, warmth and intuition. They make a wonderful team!

Another Triumph for Inman

Shawn Inmon is my favorite writer, there I said it. Hands down, time after time, he writes an incredibly gripping story that has me laughing, crying, gasping, and sitting on the edge of my seat. I’ve never been one for adventure stories but he somehow manages to pull me in with witty and entertaining characters, with fast moving plot points, with an engaging sense of familiarity as though I’ve been placed into the stories myself, Stranded is no exception to this rule. It’s fast paced and constantly making you anxious to find out what happens next. I can’t wait until Marooned comes to audible, especially looking forward to another Johnathan McClain performance.

R.o.u.s’s? So far from Guilder?!

I enjoyed the story and liked the narrator but a couple of things bothered me. First, why wouldn’t someone poke their head through the portal to SEE what was on the other side or stick a camera or something through to take pics or video with a super bright light before sending a whole team in? That bothered me so much I couldn’t stop thinking about it through the entire book.

Second, I despise when characters name are in anyway similar. Spade and Stone don’t sound the same but when you’re listening to a book that has 2 characters that are both military men whose short names begin with an “S”, it gets confusing.

Third, I like this narrator but at times he forgot who was talking and used the wrong voice/accent.

I know that sounds like a lot of complaining lol. But I really like this author and enjoyed the book. I’m looking forward to listening to book two.

I really enjoyed it but…
