SM Stirling as you love it!

Fans of SM Stirling will truly love this book. Well-researched and with great story lines, I’m already looking forward to the next book!

Good story, a bit much exposition at times

The story was interesting. There were spots in the story where I got a bit bored with all the explanations. It kind of felt like a book from a history class. Full of information, but not something to keep your interest.

Overall a good book.

Solid time-travel SF

Well thought out time travel story, good characters and believable historical figures. Stirling did quality writing.

A book I’ve always wanted to read. I just hope he continues the story! Five more volumes please.

Very nice new series from a long established author, combining a fairly realistic time travel story.

This was a super book

This book was fantastic and I really love S. M Stirling across time books! What a totally engrossing story

Boring

I couldn't continue this book. Look I can tell the author put a lot of work into the historical aspects of this book but it doesn't change just how boring it is. The characters have zero development and barely stand out. The story is filled with nothing but exposition dumps and it can feel like almost nothing is happening for hours. Maybe you'll like this book if you want a more interesting history lesson but as someone that reads for stories this wasn't for me.

INTERESTING FROM BEGINNING TO END!

This book was really enjoyable. Mr. Stirling's concept was intriguing as well as fun. The only issue I had was paying attention to the reader's voice.

Not as good as most Stirling

This was written weirdly and did not flow as well as most of Stirling's books.

S.M.Sterling’s books are always fascinating ! Well researched , informative and a joy to read / listen too . I have enjoyed all of his series and many of his books he chose to co-write . He’s one of my top 10 !
