I didn’t care

I really didn’t care. For some reason this story didn’t pull me in. I think the character development was too shallow and the tension never really developed. Ended up quitting on chapter 27 I think.

I liked the premise of the book.

I liked how the aliens were not all powerful and how they we're not just the standard aliens that other authors uses in their books.

Took a beat, but drew me in.

The narrator’s voice was a turn off at first, but then kept me interested. So far a great story line and I’m ready for the next one.

good book, different than what you execpt

The story is good and a good pace .. I can recommend this book. the pacing of the book is good

New take on an alien invasion.

This book stayed with a very small “tribe” with very limited resources and training but they learned and adapted and survived. Good book! Now let me go find book 2.

Engaging and addictive story.

Engaging and well formed story line, that is as not overly descriptive. I was drawn in and able to see the story as it was read.

Good story

The main thing I disliked about the story was using bug like aliens. I kept picturing caterpillars. I truly disliked their portrayal as the aliens.

Is this for teens- possible spoilers

Narration was great. Story pretty much just turned into background noise for me. I waited the entire book for an explanation on how intergalactic bugs that hunted on par like a pack of wolves were intelligent enough to build starships and navigate the solar system. Figured they were a precursor for a more intelligent species to wipe out the planet for their arrival, but that explanation never came, not even in the epilogue. You're listeners aren't stupid. Ask smart questions in your books.

good story line. very believable.

just like in real life the government saved it's self and let the rest of humanity die a grim death.
