When time fractures, chaos reigns.

At the Museum of Natural History in New York City, paleontologist Noah Clark is about to unveil his greatest discovery. However, on the day the curtain is set to rise, a cosmic event shatters reality.

The remnants of a colossal supernova strike Earth, engulfing it in a swirling alien fog charged with crackling electricity. Noah, along with everyone else, is left dazed and nauseous. He staggers outside and watches in horror as a Tyrannosaurus rex emerges from the otherworldly miasma and cuts down a bewildered pedestrian.

And the rex isn’t alone…

The unthinkable has happened: The Cretaceous Period—a chapter in Earth’s history ruled by the largest and most dangerous creatures to ever exist—has been hurled sixty-five million years forward in time, inexplicably colliding with our own.

Will Noah and the rest of humanity survive this prehistoric invasion, or will they become prey, driven to extinction in a world reclaimed by its former masters?

FRACTURE beautifully showcases international bestselling author Matt James’ passion for thrilling adventure and edge-of-your-seat suspense, as well as his deep, childlike adoration for dinosaurs.

*If you wish to know more about the animals used in this novel, there is a brief summary of each one after the last chapter. Wait until you’ve listened to the story to check it out to avoid spoilers.

This is a story that hit all the boxes for me. Character growth, fantastic relationships, and the potential for future team ups. But more than this… dinosaurs! What could be better than seeing New York terrorized by Cretaceous creatures? Why, harrowing escapes, the thrill of discover, and the chill of learning you are no longer the top of the food chain.

Personally, I would have liked to explore the wider implications of the time shift, and perhaps discover entire portions of the prehistoric world dumped into the 21st century. But what I got was an Outstanding ride that I could not stop listening to.

Dino-wild!

This story has potential but I'm not sure the author can make up his mind whether he wanted a comedy or what. Suddenly society is thrust into this situation where they are being hunted by prehistoric beasts and they are standing around having discussions about subjects that have nothing to do with their situation. Suddenly they snap out of their discussions only because a dangerous animal threatens them. I wish I never would have given away my credit for this title. live and learn.

stinks!
