the fun

I loved the snark and the wise craving. I also like a main character who admits she doesnt know everything.

different story line

interesting characters but just getting good when it ended.would have liked story to continue developing relationships

Enjoyable

The stories are enjoyable and charming. Clean reading for those who have a hard time finding good books. There are some good quips. This book would be good for teenagers and adults. I’m looking forward to listening to more stories.

How to live with magic is all over in their lives

That this place was always about witches, vampires and werewolves and how they live there lives dealing with what was normal for them and there lives. I liked the narration of New Jersey slang since my parents came from Brooklyn New York. Listening to the narrative reminded me how my parents could turn on & off the slang of the east coast.

Turned off at first but by 2nd booked really enjoyed

I was initially turned off by the narrator’s accent, which kept shifting between Southern and New Jersey by the main character, making it difficult to follow. However, by the second book, the accent issue settled, and I really got hooked on the characters. It ended up being a fun and enjoyable listen!

Starry Hallow 1-3 books

I loved the mystical mysteries. It is a cozy read and a listen. Even though I was able to read some of her books, they are not easy to come by. They are good books and wonder why they are not in book stores. But was able to find the on audiobooks so was very happy.

Enjoyed the listen.

3 books with one novella down and I am invested in what lies ahead. Ember’s evolution from juvenile, repo woman to budding witch of a prominent family, has so much potential. I’m curious to find out what her mother’s backstory is and how it will affect her in the future. Marley is a nice addition to the series. Hopefully her powers will reveal themselves in a big way.

Cute

I don’t know how she came up with all the cute story lines! (PLEASE look up the difference between ‘farther’ and ‘further’ in a grammar book.) I look forward to spending more time with these characters.

Fun

Was a fun and light story line, the accent took me a minute to digest then I ended up loving it more as the books went on.

The accent is cringe but the story is great.

1. People from Jersey don’t say the “New.”
2. NO ONE calls it “Joisey.” No. One. At least no one from JERSEY.
3. The accent is a mix between Boston and Staten Island NOT Jersey.

But the story was great. I just hate hate hate this reader. As someone who is actually from Jersey, it was beyond awful.
