Great Pacing

The story was well done and it feels like the plot moves along well in this book. Always exciting and the voice acting fits the characters.

Good but lacking growth.

Enjoying the story overall, as well as the performance, but I am struggling with how stupid the 3 MCs are.

There's just not enough growth/learning and they're continually under-utilising their abilities, resources and opportunities in such obvious ways. It makes it hard to be sympathetic towards them when they're always shooting themselves in the foot. Poor Daniel seems to be getting totally pushed to the side and painted as nothing but a meatshield, as yet was meant to be the golden child? confusing!

also -1 for shitty cliffhanger ending. Poor form on an already short story with a slow release schedule.

Cliff Hanger from Hell

This book is just as good as the first one. I found myself sucked in and finishing the whole thing in less then a week. if you hate Cliff hangers, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!

Wait until book three is out because this things leaves you on a hell of a moment.

Satisfying

Breath of fresh air after having your own mind bastion on for too long. World is big enough and yet not bogged down.

Great continuation

it was a great continuation of the story, they fixed the issue from the first book and Nick doesn't yell every time he says HERO lol. the story and performance were great and I can nit wait to find out what happens next.

over all an amazing book, I can't word it properly so in all all shit just slaps

Main character and friend are still idiots

The story is much better in the second book. However, the main character and his friend are still wildly stupid. The MC still refused to learn to fight because he wouldn’t have to ignoring situations where he might not have a chance or he wouldn’t be with friends. I genuinely don’t believe he has any experience with isekai stories.

Engaging and has me hooked

After reading the first book, I immediately ordered the second of an absolute hooked. I find myself not wanting to watch TV in comparison to listen to the story as I drive home. I found a few times going slower than the speed limit just to get a good part five stars can’t wait for the nextbook

A great twist on an old trope

I really loved listening to this book. I intend to buy the next one as soon as it comes out.

I hope they write Book 3! Would appreciate another little subplot exploring the main characters romantic identity.
