Nice synthesis!!

The author does a very nice job of taking a lot of the superficiality out of Personal development and really does deliver on some practical techniques to make this your final self-help book.

Outstanding book

This book aggregates a range of different self-help philosophies into a clear and innovative framework for actively moving to a state of peace and success. It is an easy read given the authors informal and conversational writing style. I recommend it highly.

Excellent~ but I'll need the book to do activities

I thought this was an absolutely amazing book and highly recommend it! I learned a lot. It reminded me of The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. (The Four Agreements changed my life when I read it and continues to have a profound effect on my life!!!!) I really needed to hear some of the teachings of the book as well because this book took things further than the Four Agreements. In a good way. AS I WAS LISTENING TO THIS AUDIO in the car, I WAS SITTING NEXT TO THE PERSON THAT IMOST CURRENTLY NEEDED TO DO THE WORK FOR (my dad). I really had to roll Matthew's teachings around in my head... Yes, it was terribly hard to give up being "right" and accept that maybe every way was ok (even when I had previously thought of my dad as being in the wrong for his "terrible" and "abusive" behavior my whole life prior to this book). Well, I'm not there yet BUT I am working on it thanks to Matthew Ferry!

The only downfall is that I feel like I need the book to see the websites mentioned and see the lists. I wish there was a PDF atttached to this book.

A Must Read for ANYONE wanting an EPIC LIFE!!. Matthew's Book works. I have been fortunate to follow Matthew for the last few decades and I love his stuff. Matthew has a way of cutting thru the BS and delivering. Knowing Matthew Ferry has improved my life and his book ... and the meditations included ... ground me when I need it the most. And Now ... I am in control of my mind. And it is peaceful. I love my mind. Thank you Matthew.

So grateful for the wisdom that is shared here. Truly, a gift to set ourselves free… Step-by-step, instruction, and encouragement, to relieve ourselves of the concepts that bind us can’t wait to listen to the meditations that he offers. Thank you Matthew.

Most important book on practical enlightenment.

It is one thing to know about spiritual disciplines. It is a whole different thing to have daily practices broken down on how to actually attain and maintain enlightenment. Enlightenment creates the conditions for high-performance which is what many of us are all about. Quiet mind epic life!

It is all here in this book.

After spending many years reading self help books, I am finally done. All we have to do is follow the steps the author has outlined for us and we can have anything we want. I really liked how straight and no nonsensical he presented the information. I review sections of the book everyday to keep me reminded and aware of the teachings. Thank you to the author for compiling all his education of enlightenment into this book.

Probably the worst book I’ve ever heard

I’ve never written a review on a book, but this book was the worst book I’ve ever heard. No practical tools were given, just a lot of general talk about other ideas and how nothing works but his method. Yet, I have no idea what his method is. I’m so confused.b

Entire premise based on junk science

Book bases much of its conclusions on the pseudoscience of applied kinesiology. If you don't buy into it, the book will be a waste of time.
