The form of constitution that replaced feudalism and absolutism was democracy; the form of government, plutocracy. Today, democracy is a façade of plutocracy: Since nations would not tolerate a pure form of plutocracy, they were granted nominal powers, while the real power rests in the hands of plutocrats. In republican as well as monarchical democracies, the statesmen are puppets, the capitalists are the puppeteers; they dictate the guidelines of politics, rule through purchase the public opinion of the voters, and through professional and social relationships, the ministers.

Instead of the feudal structure of society, the plutocratic stepped in; birth is no more the decisive factor for social rank, but income is. Today’s plutocracy is mightier than yesterday’s aristocracy: Because nobody is above it but the state, which is its tool and helper’s helper.

When there was still true blood nobility, the system of aristocracy by birth was fairer than that of the moneyed aristocracy today: because then the ruling caste had a sense of responsibility, culture, and tradition; whereas the class that rules today is barren of feelings of responsibility, culture, or tradition.

Genius, and not at all a plan to destroy European People

He was such a deep and broad thinker. Nothing in this outlines a plan to “destroy” anybody, and most of the book should be music to a modern White supremacist’s ears. Rather, using reason, a lot of knowledge, imagination, and hope, in one section he predicts that in the future, due to the space/time collapsing trajectory of technology and global culture that racial and national differences will evolve into mere personality and social differences, as apparent racial differences diffuse, by the operation of the mystery of Eros and of economics.

It’s definitely dated, especially in its understanding of race, large-scale history and geography, and of the modern understanding of the relativity of all things. But, for what it is, an outline of ideal forms relating to Politics, this is outstanding.

I recommend it to anyone interested in Politics, Religion, Culture, Sociology, Race, Globalization, Futurism/Technology, and progress in general.

I need practical advice, not theory

This book was about 70% right about life.

It is good for opening the minds of beginners, but not for people that already have an advanced understanding of how the demographics of Europe are changing and how that will affect their children.

I'm tired of theory, a practical guide on how to fix problems would be better.

Practical guides do exist, there's at least 3 really good ones, but you can't talk about them in public, so, go look for them yourself.

FANTASTIC NARRATION

Fantastically articulate and entertaining narrator. Will be searching for more of his work. the book itself was fascinating. Would Highly recommend.

he never talked about how Europe would be destroyed. wouldn't reccomend it did have a few good points.
