So Good!

After listening to book one of the killers series I was hooked! For the first time ever I listened to that book again immediately after finishing. Then I upgraded my membership so that I could listen to the rest of the series. Love the characters in this series. Enjoyed the Grady and Maya as much as crew and Addie! Will listen to them all!

Grady and Maya are sweet together!

Grady and Maya are so sweet together. Maya's mother is horrible and I'm so happy that Maya is nothing like her. I'd like to know more about Joe. I'm loving this series and can't wait for more.

a great love story

it was a very great love story I love how the characters interview each other and how they helped each other grow out of there problems

Nasal Narrator

Jason Clarke has a great voice for the narration, but Kit Swann's voice is a bit nasally sounding, I have enjoyed both books and if the books weren't as good as they are I probably wouldn't listen.

This book really hooked me. I knew it would if it was was anything like vines. I am looking forward to finishing the rest.

Vines book one in the series was great and I loved it, but this one was even better and I just devoured it. Everything about Paths drew me in.

Fake Relationship, Forced Proximity, Suspense

I loved the first book in this series, and I loved this one. You've got Grady, a tortured, grumpy hero with a very complicated past. And Maya, a heroine in hiding from both her family and her ex-fiancé mobster. How could this be anything but a fantastic book? Add in that Jason Clarke is one of the narrators and I am obsessed.

We met both Grady and Maya in the first book of the series. Grady was struggling with retirement, leading him to take another job that almost got him and his best friend killed. In this book he's still recovering from his near escape and the guilt he feels over Crew's involvement. I really appreciated how his struggles were handled throughout the entire course of this book, and I love how Maya was both sensitive to it while also not letting him get away with being a jerk. I love how the relationship between the two of them developed. I loved that Grady pushed Maya but also gave her time to get used to the new developments in their relationship. I love that they both secretly paid close attention to the other before they started interacting with each other, and I love how they both supported each other.

I'm genuinely very excited to continue with this series and I'm even excited for the spin-off series that was started with one of the side characters from this book.

Loved Maya and Grady!

Paths by Brynne Asher was gripping, thrilling, and hot! I really enjoyed this story, and the characters. Paths is book 2 in Asher's The Killer's series. Jason Clarke and Kit Swann narrate this audio.

Maya starts off as this timid character, that is on the run from her troubled past. However, has Maya puts more trust in Grady, her personality and confidence begins to change. I love that! Grady has a dangerous past of his own, but knows what he wants, and that is to protect and take care of Maya. I love all the twists and turns of this story that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Jason Clarke and Kit Swann are once again fabulous together in this audio! This is second audio I've listened to Kit on (Vines being the first) and she continues to impress me with each of her performances. Jason Clarke takes on multiple roles in this audio, and I never have to even guess who is talking. He is so talented!

Overall, I enjoyed this book and this audio! I loved everything about his romantic suspense story! Looking forward to more in this series!
