Great Plot!!

This book is well written, and it’s more for the adult, mature readers, but Dr. Sharp definitely has a way with descriptions. I can’t wait to read the other three books in the series.

Great plot and listen!

Narration was great, although the Irish accents could have been a bit better.
Plot-line was easy to follow and kept you guessing. Not too short and not too long either .

Great book ignore some of the language

Highly recommend this book and the series. Only suggestion is tone down on the “c” word.

Very good Story

This was a decent story and the performance was really good. The graphic sex descriptions were totally unnecessary. I’m not adverse to normally reading those things however if I did want to read about that I would choose that type of novel. I will not continue reading the series because of it. At times it read like a porn novel

Good Romantic Suspense

Keira’s father was an enforcer for the Irish mob until he turned informant for the FBI. Four years after Keira “died” under Archer’s protection while he was still in the Boston PD, they remeet in Wyoming. However, the Irish somehow found out that she is alive. This time Archer and Keira stopped denying the attraction between each other. Archer is a romantic suspense, second chance romance, bodyguard romance, mafia subplot romance. I love that the author used a real life event as a plot point in this book. The romance is fantastic and the suspense plot is really good.

2nd Chance Romantic Suspense

Rebecca Sharp has been on my TBR for ages and I kept putting her books off and I have no idea why! I finally picked up Archer and I had a great time with it. This is a romantic suspense, age gap, bodyguard, romance and I really enjoyed it.
Kiera has spent a lot of her life in witness protection ever since her father testified against the Irish Mob. After years of moving from place to place, she feels relatively safe and has finally settled in Wyoming. When a series of crimes start happening in the small town she is confronted with her past, specifically Archer Reynolds.
Archer believed that Kiera was dead and had been punishing himself for years about it. When he sees her again he cannot help the attraction he still has for her and the need to keep her safe.
This was an interesting and unique romance with second-chance vibes and I would recommend it. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series which follows one of Archers brothers.

Overall I Loved it! A lot of romance but that’s the only downside.

Some like the over the top romance and sex scenes I was slightly annoyed by it. But it had a great story line and character development.

Decent

It needed more murder, mystery, and less romance. I was hoping for more investment with the Irish mob.

Too many sexual chapters

I enjoyed the actual plot and characters and the actual story. I wanted the author to get back to the story instead of inserting so many explicit and on and on sexual chapters. Really don’t need all of the explicit and long descriptions of the sex lives. I finally just skipped ahead to get to the actual story

Loved

This story is romantic, sexy and easy to get lost in. I just found the author and she quickly became one of my favorites. The narration is wonderful and their voices just pull you in.
