What would be helpful would be to state at the closing by Audible sharing what the following book is. Cyclops was book #8 in the Dirk Pitt series, what is book nine, etc.

with a Clive Cussler adventure. Pure entertainment. I'm glad Hollywood has only ruined one of his books.

this is a memorable novel intriguing plot twists and turns with an indelible group of characters.

Non stop action and always entertaining.

Loved the book. Love the characters. I only wish that all the books were this long. Many are less than a third of this one.

Pitt is the real man of steel.

To me, Scott Brick is the quintessential Dirk Pitt. The only reason he received 4 stars instead of 5 was his inability to pronounce the word demonic properly. My husband is getting it next.

Pitt always delivers!

Dirk Pitt is Indiana Jones with a James Bond, shaking...not stirred. Clive Cussler is an amazing story teller and every book I have read by him never disappoints.

AWESOME ADVENTURE!!!

I'm a relatively new reader to Clive Cussler books. I started with the NUMA series and listened to every NUMA book that is available on Audible. I then went backwards to the Dirk Pitt series. Audible does not have the first books in this series so this is my second book with Dirk Pitt. So far, this book is my favorite of all. It was a longer audiobook (a plus when you're spending a credit) and the story was far more intricate with various storylines all occurring in parallel with each other. Every time one story would kind of wrap up, I was worried the book was almost over, but then I checked the time and 6 more hours to go! I was pleasantly surprised several times when I thought I was close to the end only to find that I had some hours left. I definitely recommend this title whether you're new to Clive Cussler or an old hand who has not read this one yet, it's a great adventure!

Very far fetched but a great thriller

There seemed to be about 3-4 stories going on in this book, and each one was more far fetched than the last one. But if you let go of that and just enjoy the wild ride, this is a thoroughly enjoyable book. Cussler is a great storyteller and the pace retains its speed throughout. The book opens with Dirk Pitt stopping a runaway blimp manned by a crew of the dead, and it leads to a treasure hunt near Cuba, the capture of Pitt and his friends, a moon colony, the space shuttle, a Russian plot to eliminate Fidel Castro, and finally back to the treasure hunt. Despite all that, the story is easy to follow and doesn’t bog down. This isn’t high culture literature by any means, but it is a fun escape. I thought that Scott Brick did a fine job narrating.
