The end

The role of Africa in the story was very confusing. I think it could’ve been done better.

Enjoyable

A very small bit of a gap remembering the disparate plot at the beginning, but came together nicely later.

The connection between the South African story line, and Vixen 03.

An interesting story line with many surprises. Dirk Pitt is a true hero. Highly recommended.

The History and Story

Always a fan of Clive Cussler series. Still a very interesting and impactful series that combines history and fiction that we can appreciate.

Excellent Plot

This story is, to me, a step above other Dirk Pitt stories. It is a complicated web of characters coming together to create the dangerous situation Dirk must try to resolve. It is NOT the usual maniacal, mad, megalomaniac trying to conquer the world. Dirk is both super hero and human in this story, making him a truly admirable character. Some of the roughness of the first few books has been sanded away, making him more likable, as well. I highly recommend this story to you, Clive Cussler fan or not.

Vixen 03 and Quick Death

This book like the ones before it has been entertaining and exciting all rolled into one. Clive Cussler never fails to tie all the lose ends together before the end of any adventure. This book is no different! I am enjoying going thru the Pitt books, this time in order.

Disconnected

The plot line strayed so far it was difficult to believe a new line had developed. Good but not great.

The mystery

I loved the twists and turns of the story. I didn’t know where the story was going.

Dirk vs apartheid

This volume of the Dirk Pitt series is somewhat dated today, taking place in the days when apartheid and white rule held sway in South Africa. Intrigues between the ruling government, or at least some of their less scrupulous agents, and a somewhat successful black freedom fighter group. Throw in the wild cards of a long thought lost deadly bioweapon and the completely accidental involvement of Dirk Pitt, and you have an exciting, if dated, adventure yarn. Well worth a recommendation. Clive Cussler was a man ahead of his time.

Better ending than middle

Almost over detailed multiple story lines, but they all pan out together in the ending
