Such great narration!

This is what I expect from extreme horror. And the narrator did such a fantastic job I really was into every character.

Another great one from Athan!

This guy never disappoints! My top from him still remains to be Are your Parents Home? But this comes in at a close second! Incredible detail and unmatched gore!10/10

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!!

Everything that you can conjure in your mind with trigger warnings happen in this book.

Hate the Ending

My honest review about this book is this: I was impressed with the detailed writing and I liked a couple of the characters. I related to some of the details I was hearing because some of the names were familiar to me from my personal life and ... my own traumas with loss made me relate to some of the characters. I was engaged with the story, frustrated by some decisions made, and horrified at certain points for obvious reasons... but then came the ending. I hated it. There were details that felt unnecessary, other than maybe to fulfill something in the author's writing that I'm not familiar enough with to grasp... and frankly I'm just upset about the ending itself. I kind of wish this was more... fleshed out. I feel like there is more story here prior to this book and after it ends which probably should've been included in what would probably be a much bigger book. Maybe I wouldn't be so upset if I saw the rest, but as it stands, I'm kinda angry about it. I'm not sure I'll check to see if there's others. The writing itself is great but ... I really don't want to get burned by another ending like that again.

Better than expected!

What an awesome experience! This book isn’t as twisted or pervy as the title may make it seem. I took a chance and am glad I did! It’s very grounded with a great storyline. Narration was great too. I understand that the author is supposed to be dropping a sequel to this, and I cannot wait! Please release the next book on Audible soon! I want more of this story! After listening to this title, I went to check out this authors other books. Just finished Shared by Two and that was great as well. Getting ready to binge the other books by this author. Give it go! It’s worth it and fun

Wtf did I just listen to? I, regretfully, underestimated the reviews. This book is truly awful.

not for the faint of heart or easily disturbed

it definitely felt and sounded like how eighth graders would act in the situation. Its overall very sad but cinematic i could see the scenes in my head...not sure if i wanted to for most of them lmao its gave me the vibes of Playground by Aron Beauregard so if you liked that you'll enjoy this

Ending ??!?

As much as I hated the main character I'm happy that the story did not end with your typical happy ending. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Holy Sh!t

I've read a lot of messed up books, but this one tops the charts in the "What Did I Just Read" category.

A group of friends discover a fresh corpse in the woods, and out of morbid curiosity, they "examine" the body. However, there's always that one friend who takes it too far.

If you choose to take this book for a ride, I do recommend caution only bc of the subject matter discussed. Child abuse, domestic abuse, bullying, murder (obviously), and mental health issues.

I definitely recommend this one.
