good story but 3 books not needed

it was a decent story but in my opinion this was 1 book maybe 2

Valkyrie School

I couldn't put down Eliza's Shadow Bound Queen series and wanted more of this world. This series didn't disappoint.
I wanted more inflection in Lia Hollands' interpretation of characters at times to give more emotion behind the characeters.

Otherwise, both did a good job narrating.

Such a Perfect Conclusion!

This book was a chef's kiss! The betrayal, the twists, the SLOOOOOOW BURN. I finished this book in about a day, I am so obsessed. I am definitely checking out the other books by this author for this world; The Brides of Mist and Fae. The viking-esque and Norse mythology in this series is so refreshing. The BANTER is SO GOOD!!

Best HEA in forever!!

Slow burn tension perfect over the three books. Revelations in book three with a nice twist, and wholly satisfying HEA in the last three or four chapters. I will listen again and again, probably.

I adore the FMC and the MMC are voiced separately no matter whose perspective the chapter was in. That is how this should ALWAYS be done. Loved the performances. Wasn’t yanked out of the story once!!

Should have read it myself

I was very disappointed in this series. Booktok had it wrong. I was not a fan of the narrators. I do believe if I read this on my kindle I would have a different opinion.

Well done trilogy

Not drown out but I was wishing for more details a little sooner, especially about the mmc. I gasped a little with some plot reveals. After listening to all three books back to back, the female narrators voice is slightly robotic and it is odd how she lengthens some sounds (consonants) especially at the end of a sentence. Example: terrible=terriblllle; her=herrr. Once you hear it, you can’t not notice every time. Overall, a really fun, faced paced trilogy.

Great Ending!

Great ending! I really didn’t know how things were going to work out and was pleasantly surprised!

Both main characters go through so much and also learn and grow through heartbreak and love!

On the whole it was a great series!

Fairy Tale

Not a lot of world building but the storyline was well thought out and the unveiling didn’t take too long before the plot presented itself. A little spicy at the end of Book three.

Great story!

The spicy scenes were out of nowhere and awkward. There needed to be some lead up to them. It was like we hate each other and then oops now we want each other.

Her decision to keep moving forward

I like the build up too the right thing to feel strong and find out who she was
