One of my favorute series

I got this story recommended a while ago and really liked the writing, a lot of times i struggle with storys heavily featuring time travel, but this was one of the few that really pulled it off, cant wait for arc 3

good book

I'm a little disappointed in the time in it takes to output the second book of this audible series, but it was a goodie.

Story is good, narrator is meh

I loved this story so much, I took the time to sit down and find the web novel (royal road is the official site for it, unless you have a kindle) so that I could finish it. Then I stayed up late reading so I could finish it. Now that it's done, I feel so satisfied.

BUT the narrator real needs to work on his verbalization skills. I don't know if it's the weird nasal tone he affects (even though he can get rid of it when he voices some of the chars) or the way he pauses awkwardly or puts emphasis in weird places, but I found him hard to listen to. It got easier after a few hours, but I don't know if that's because I got used to it or if it actually got better. I still think I'd be a little turned off from future titles that he narrates. It's so hard to enjoy a story if the narrator is distracting.

Regardless, don't be dissuaded. The story is worth it. Just be patient with narrator and you'll get used to him after a while. If you really can't stand him though, there is a web novel (which you might be checking out later anyway so you can read the rest of the story).

Fun Story. Nice continuation.

Overall this was a great continuation of the story from Arc 1. I will admit that I still cringe a little at Jack Voraces' attempts at mimicking female voices though. I'm kinda wishing that there was a second female narrator that could have been plugged in to take care of that but hey, it is what it is at this point. The story itself makes up for it though. I like how there are so many subtle tie ins that you get from previous parts of the story that makes more and more sense as you go along. Like the cat staring at the water on the bridge and the mention of Kyle's handwriting from Arc 1. Great attention to detail in my opinion. I would definitely recommend others check out this series. Truly worth the credit. 💯

the time loop makes this fantasy more like a litrpg. love the characters and pace. excellent story!

speed up by 1.2

the content is great but the narrator is tough to listen to for long. by speeding up playback to 1.2x or 1.3x it is much smoother and easier to listen to. CANT WAIT FOR ARC 3 IN SEPTEMBER

Loving this series

There is a lot I could praise about this series and nothing I could complain about. So I will just say 2 books in and I am still hooked.

Another gem from nobody

As the saying goes, "nobody's perfect". But really though, this series is so well thought out. I love that the plot of the books make sense from any point in the story.

A well thought out story and characters that become more life-like with every restart as the main character cracks his shell more and more make this an absolute page turner.

Good book

Good book series overall with interesting magic and engaging characters my only annoyance is how long they are dragging the whole time loop part. Which is starting to kill the whole series for me it was interesting the first 25-30hrs and just starts to become tedious to listen to.

A solid addition leaves the listener wanting more

This is a solid sequel to the first book. A lot of reviews complain about The voice acting. Cmon guys it’s not that bad. Some of the characters do sound a bit stupid but you can tell the passion that he has when he does the character voices. Kiriel’s voice is adorable as well. The writing feels very believable. There are some holes but honestly you have to come into these stories willing to overlook a few small plot holes. Especially when the story has as complex a magic system as this one does.
