Underwhelming
This was a passably enjoyable listen. The characters are pretty flat. Although there is some change of perspective doesn’t really do much through the story characterization of the Gauls is completely absent.

Great First Book!!!!
S.J.A. Turney did an amazing job with this. the story is full and the character development is on point. more importantly he did his research before writing...which makes a huge difference. This is definitely a "page turner"
Also some of the best narration. He has a strong voice, energetic, and is not monotone. I look forward to more books in this series

Fantastic Novel and Series
This is by far one of the best series I have read. The series overall has been great to read and I buy every book the day it comes out on audible. Narrator is fantastic as well. Would recommend it to anyone.

The coke of Ancient Roman Fiction Literature
I read this and loved it for a while....then kinda got bored with it was just more of the same...Seems every time I look for new literature Marius Mules just rears it Book Covers. And reminds me how I am so familiar with the cast or characters and just a few books away from the finish. But then I started from the beginning again. See read the headline.
