He's a Dad

I find it funny that kale is a dad. He doesn't seem to want to admit it to himself, but he is definitely a dad.

better mic!!! Story still a 5!!!

The first one had mic problems throughout the recording. This one has no problems at all. The story is still as fun as ever!!!!!!!!

Nice part 2

I liked this one as well. Good characters good story and I’m interested in what comes next. The narrator does a good job again, and whenever he falls slightly short I don’t mind because he is obviously trying very hard.

Great story

Love this story, I’ve read both the novel and the comic, the audio book version is a great addition. I look forward to completing the entire series on audio book.

Good but

This was a good book but also very simple and weak story with weird characters developments.

weird audio quirks

there's weird audio changes where it's harshly cut in and obviously done with a completely different sound setup every once in awhile. it is a bit jarring.
on top of that, the narrators onamatopoeia effects are... bad. They're pretty nonsensical and don't really sell the environment trying to be described. they're just loud and also jarring.
the narrator is decent but there's not a lot of life to his voice. it's a very base level narration without any excitement. he does decent enough distinct voices though.

Good story...dreadful narration

Story could be great but narrator causes many flaws. Many times you don't know if characters are having enter dialog or speaking out loud. A lot of occasions you are uncertain who characters are speaking to. Voice reactions are many times off, I don't think the narrator knows how to whisper, like at all. Overall the narration disrupts the story and ability to be drawn into it, leaving you asking a question about dialog every 10 or so minutes.
Since I haven't read the written material, I can't judge if it's entirely narrator's fault but most the time I believe it is.

The story it's self is intriguing and extremely good. Worth the purchase despite dreadful narration. Overall great story!
