Meh

This one is okay- it’s not as good as the first book. The story dragged.

Unsympathetic characters

It was difficult to sympathize with either character in here. Vic Victoria was closed off had more secrets since you should and was inexplicable interactions her husband Nick had a temper that was terrifying and jealous jealous. I wanted to find out who actually did it in the end. It was a weird ending.And I’m glad I finished it but I wouldn’t want to recommend it. And that’s what I’m going to submit.

Great follow up to Book 1

The saga continues, with familiar and novel characters. This was a tense thriller with a great twist that I didn't see coming. I would advise reading or listening to them in order to get the full picture of the characters and the region. Robin McAlpine did an outstanding job once again on the narration.

Nice easy listen

Not too many surprises but an easy listen. Helpful to get you through your chores without having to concentrate too hard on the story

Story was good but the name drops killed it

I was into the plot it was fine but by chapter 11 I almost stopped listening because I was so tired of hearing Victoria every sentence. We got it, the main character name is Victoria but everyone saying her name EVERY sentence it was an overkill and quite irritating and I was pretty annoyed with Nick and his attitude and that whole marriage but I got past it but the name dropping ruined it for me
