This book makes learning to establish an LLC simple. I am starting a business as a sole proprietorship for the time being. But when the time comes that I generate enough business to warrant it, I will establish an LLC for legal reasons. This guide helped me understand the process, as well as the pros and cons involved. This book lays everything out for you and very simple to understand. I received the audio version, but it comes with an accompanying PDF to follow along with.

A must read

Excellent little book/audiobook especially if you’re researching LLCs and how to create them. Although, it left a lot of unanswered questions, it definitely packs a lot of useful information.

Dam good book Must read If you're thinking about open up in a business especially a LLC. This is the book for you. It's really thorough and goes over everything. Be prepared to take notes.

Tremendous value for your time and money

This is intro level of course, but for that, I'm well satisfied. A mix of simple examples with crucial terminology keeps it moving. This is effective to flag some of the prominent factors and complexities faced when deciding what organization to use, and it has some practical tips about getting further help. Plenty of short budget-priced introductory level audiobooks I buy here end up disappointing me, but not this one.

A Great Refresher Course in Business

"LLC QuickStart Guide" is a great audiobook for anyone interested in beginning a partner type business without having to form a partnership. The LLC (Limited Liability Company) is perhaps more appealing than forming a corporation as well. This book also explains LLPs and LLLPs.

Forming an LLC is likely more appealing for folks wanting to start a small business. It's less formal, less taxes but it is 'limited liability' therefore in some instances a corporation may be better depending on the type of business. In many instances beginning an LLC IS the best way to go.

That's where this audiobook is extremely helpful and useful. It explains how the LLC works as well as it's advantages and disadvantages. I found it to be a great refresher course also. This will get you started in the right direction.

Amy Barron Smolinski did an excellent job with this book. She's easy to understand and speaks at a good pace. Overall, I enjoyed listening.

Definitely another winner! This book makes LLC clear to the layman. It gives information on its history, advantages and disadvantages. You’ll learn how you can establish your own LLC and you’ll discover the criteria you’ll need for setting it up. You’ll also be able to differentiate between the various types of company setup procedures based on IRS standards.

This will be particularly useful for those who want to set up a small business. I’d say this was easy-to-listen narration and informative content, and as usual – short and spicy. Enough to for you to learn without getting bored or overwhelmed. Highly recommended.
