Good story, terrible narration.

The AI narration was monotonous and far too many mispronunciations. Really a disservice to the story.

Virtual voice narration ruins it

The story and plot are good but the non-human mistakes made by the virtual voice narration are distracting. Once you hear the missed nuances, you can’t immediately focus on the storyline. The human voice can be replicated but not all the small things we take for granted in everyday speech. Next time I hear that a book is being read by a virtual voice, I’ll skip the audio version and read the physical book myself!

Horrible virtual voice

Virtual voice does not allow you to easily follow the characters. It’s a horrible method of delivery and makes it difficult to enjoy a well written book.

Horrible virtual voice ruined a good book

The story was clever and timely; but the virtual voice was almost intolerable. I started to listen, and then quit. I finally decided to go back to the book and tough it out. The pauses are in the wrong places and words are mispronounced. Imagine ordering a bad (pause) ass-steak, or dialing 91 (pause)1. The inflection was off, also. If I were the author, I'd demand a new recording. Such a shame to ruin an excellent story this way. Better to read the printed book so you can really appreciate the story.

Stop with the virtue voice narration !

Seems like it was going to be a good storyline but I can’t make it through it. Really disappointing too because I’m a fan of Jack Abrahams. The monotony of the virtual voice is more than I can stand. Only made it about 3 hours in and had to turn it off.
