Rocking Good Book

Absolutely love this rollercoaster of a love story about Birdie Girl & Liam. I’m always a sucker for a plus size female character & Kayla writes them so well. The narrators do a great job of bringing these two to life. Would absolutely recommend this audiobook to anyone.

I am a big fan of Kayla’s books, but this was my first audio of hers! I loved the narrators, the performance was great and easy to follow. The book itself was also great! Kayla knows how to write romance just as well as she knows how to write spice - there was a great mix of both coupled with an interesting plot line as well! And the size inclusivity is a huge bonus!

Rocking Romance

I loved this book! Birdie and Liam were so cute together. I loved their fun banter and seeing them reconnect! And the twist at the end was great. I didn't see it coming but everything came together perfectly. I highly recommend this book!

A sweet, steamy story made even better with narration.

I’m always here for a childhood friends to lovers story. I Like You Like That is this with more plot that I feel like most of the romances I read tend to have. I enjoyed the story of Birdie and Liam reconnecting and bonding and the choice of narrators definitely enhanced it!

FIRST OF ALL, BIRDIE IS MY EVERYTHING. I always find that I relate to a Kayla Grosse fmc but she truly is me. The way she looks at relationships based on past love and insecurities based on judgment from the public eye is so close to home. She is so powerful and I truly just adore her.

Liam is hotttt! I loved seeing him breakdown and pull back the layers throughout the book. My only issue is me wanting him to gravel more. He should have begged that queen for forgiveness time and time again for being a shit.

I loveddd Wren and Ben. They were so cute and loved being able to see snippets of them along with the good friendship foundation.

As far as the audiobook goes, PERFECT!! Grayson Owens never fails to amaze me whenever he hops on a Kayla book. There is no surprise he smashed it out of the park again. Angelina Rocca did amazing! I could hear her talk all day long honestly. Everything was so well done.

Love a good second chance romance!

I loved this story so much because it really spoke to my love of music and my love of romance! And I LOVE a second chance romance. Seeing people come back together after circumstance tore them apart never fails to make my heart race and Kayla wrote this story perfectly! I also love the tense moments, the heartbreaking ones, and the adventurous ones that fit so well into this narrative.

Also, I think I’m in love with Grayson Owens (or at least his voice anyways). He and Angelina Rocca did an incredible job of bringing these characters to life! They both nailed the emotion and passion of the characters and their stories.

I REALLY Liked It Like That

I already LOVED the book and the audiobook just takes it to another level.

Angelina brought Birdie to life! I always pictured her with a raspy, rockstar voice. This was the first audiobook narration I’ve heard with her and I definitely want to listen to more. Her performance is 10/10

Grayson is phenomenal as always. His performance as Liam was fantastic. 10/10.
