Fun and sexy

It was a fun ride…the steamy scenes were sexy and the story engaging. My only issue was that the love part felt a little rushed.

“What if I don't tell you to walk away?”

This was such a beautiful story. I loved both MCs' journey of healing and learning how to ask for help when you need it.

Blake and Gavin were so perfect together, and I loved how they helped each other deal with their individual struggles. Grayson Owens and Desire Ketchum did an excellent job with this performance.

Quote: “Who would’ve thought that scrawny boy running around with my pesky brother, getting into trouble, would be the one to steal my heart.”

So Good!

This book is dual narration and Let me just tell you that Desiree Ketchum is TALENTED. I’m always in awe when a female is able to do both parts and you can differentiate characters! She is incredibly and I will be listening to many more of her narrations. As for Grayson Owens. He was the perfect southern cowboy. He made Gavin sounds so yummy! And thought Gavin is younger than Blake, Grayson did not make him sound childish or immature. He had a nice firm yet warming sound to him. Both narrators gave a lot of emotion in this story and it was an easy and enticing listen!

Both Blake and Gavin have had a rough time in the last 5 years after her brother died from a freak accident while riding. Blake fled to another city, and Gavin lost his father not long after. Blake's mother gets into an accident, and she comes home. Blake never thought of her brother's best friend as an option until her first night when he peer pressured her to ride the mechanical bull for charity.

These two needed healing and slowly get it within each other's arms. I enjoyed the story and the smeggsy. I have the next book and can't wait to start.

I enjoyed both narrators bringing this quiet, small-town cowboy romance to life in dual audio. I can't wait to listen to more from both narrators in the future.

Kayla Grosse is a new addition to my auto - buy list. This book is excellent. The story was so sweet and I loved seeing the characters develop. The spice, as always, is great.
