Smiles

I enjoyed the story line as well as the narrator. This is second novel I have thoroughly enjoyed. The narrator has this dialect that is professional and fun to listen to. Gerri the author knocks it out the park again.

Even though I have everything Gerri hill has written, I decided to try the audio books before buying them. I was listening with head sets on and was laughing out load.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes the book kept me on the end of my seat to see what was coming next.

What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings a different type of flare to the audio books.

Awesome

I read the book years ago when it first came out. I finally decided to get the audible. I'd forgotten that it's such a great book. I love the characters. I don't really read cop books but I love this one and the series. Gerri Hill is still one of my favorites.
As far as the audible goes she is one of my favorite readers too. Her voice isn't annoying at all and you can tell the characters apart just by her voice. I wish this genre had more great women performers.

A great listen

I have always enjoyed Gerri Hill books and this one does not disappoint. We need more on audible.

Riveting

This story kept me on my toes with the mystery of the crime investigation, and the love story. I loved the chemistry between the characters. The love story built up the anticipation until it unveiled a beautiful ending. 👍🏽👍🏽

Great story

I really enjoyed this story. The only thing I kept hoping for was for Samantha to become more assertive in her detective role.

my first gerri hill novel and one of my favorites. dont even think about skipping this one.

The storyline was full of plots n twists. Although one main characters trauma response was not the least bit believable. Overall the story was great, the narrator was awesome as usual.
