Marvelous conclusion

Tori finally gets a chance to investigate her family’s murders when a 71 year old man is found dead in his home. There are pictures of Tori on the walls starting with the day she left the hospital.
When she’s thrown off the case she digs into her father’s notes and goes on a mission to get revenge.
Abby Craden is fabulous as usual.

Childhood lost a life filled with love- revenge?

This just is the story to answer so many questions for Tori. The most important one is what will she risk to find out who killed her family. Sam and Casey have a hard time protecting Tori from herself. I loved the twist this case took. It involved so many cities and retired cops. My favorite cop pushing all the buttons to get her revenge. Gerri Hill does not disappoint and Abby Craden brought back our detectives we love!!

I am so glad she wrote this last book so there was closure on how her family was killed and who did it. Best one yet out of the series. I love all of her books.

Amazing End to The Series!

Although I would've loved to see Leslie and Sikes more involved, the story was still epic and delivered. So glad Abby did this book, it wouldn't have been the same.

Lived the book

I followed Hunter since the first book and I am glad she has completed her mission, but what about us? Will we read about her again?

I don’t usually write reviews. I suck at it so I usually just leave stars.
This was a great conclusion to a story I’ve been following for almost 20 years.
Gerri Hill and Abby Craden are an awesome pair.

Tori Hunter is detective whose family was murder thirty years ago although she happy with her wife Sam. she always had in back her mind why was her family killed and why was she left alive. Tori and her partner and best friend Casey arrive on scene of a man who been shot , but what's more disturbing is the pictures of Tori since she was a child all on the wall of the murder victim and more shocking is the letter he leaves ,the clues about her family murders, he leaves behind. Tori is in a race to learn the truth but she doesn’t want justices she wants revenge ....will Sam Casey and Lesley keep her from going off the deep end? ... its a must have.. the audio book has a beautiful performance by abby cradden.

So so good and now that I’m done with the series I don’t know what to do with my life more than listen to the entire thing plus devils rock and all combined. Thank you Gerri Hill and Abby Craden to have this series. We, I mean I need more now lol
