BEST of a great series!

I have enjoyed all of the Lottie Parker books- but this one was the best!!!

Never lost interest

Loved all of it. Couldn't stop listening. A binge read! One of the best in the serirs.

Best yet!

Lottie Parker is a flawed character, certainly, but she’s got an intrinsic sense of justice that she doesn’t ignore. She’s one of my favorites and now I have to wait til the next book…

You’re in for a Treat

Patricia Gibney’s books about Detective Lottie Parker are always a treat. There are a slew of great characters and an interesting and intricate plot. I grabbed this one immediately and finished it in a day. Usually, the wait for the next one seems incredibly long. This time, the read was so good that I intend to do another reading of the book as soon as I start missing Lottie. I recommend reading the entire series.

Patricia Gibney does it again!

Patricia has an amazing talent for keeping on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out who did it! I also love following the storyline between Lottie and Boyd. Looking forward to the next book in the Lottie Parker series to see how things unfold between the two of them.

Dump him!

I’m so tired of all the whining from Boyd. Dump him. Introduce a new character to make Lottie happy- please!!
The rest of the plot was fantastic as usual.

Dislike of Lottie

Lottie is a self absorbed lead character and difficult for me to like her . I found her quite arrogant and self absorbed

relationship drama to hide a weak story

I love Lotti Parker and have read the entire series. I usually get the AB as soon as I get the notification that the new one is out. But this one felt forced and rushed. I didn’t care about any of the living characters enough to keep me interested in the story, the subject was great and the premise could have been intriguing but it was overshadowed by hateful changes to the characters’ personalities. The constant problems in Lotti and Boyd’s relationship is tiring and this time it came out of nowhere because the fights felt fake and forced. It was cringey really… I finished it because I hoped for a good ending but it took me weeks! The worst of the series by far 😔
