Loved it and finished it in one day.

Finished quite a few sewing projects while listening to this story. Wonderful read well worth the time.

The narrator has an annoying voice

I really don’t enjoy listening her.
She is not a good voice for this story.

Eh, just ok.

It was just ok. Reads more like a YA book… The main character Katie comes across as a 16 yr old, not a seasoned war vet - not sure if that’s due to the narrator or writing.

Not the best

The narrator was rather flat, no personality to the characters. The plot was interesting but not a mazing. Hopefully the characters are better developed in the following books. I didn’t like how the main character was portrayed

Gripping

Great book, gripping and not predictable. The location was close to home for me so easy to picture some scenes
