Fabulous

As brilliantly done relaxing, easy listening and humorous fall a sleep listening to a story

Wow

Great continuity from the first book. The characters are real and believable in this setting.

A lovely light magic cozy

This one is even better than the first one. Celine is my favorite character. Who would not love a magical, talking, snarky, arrogant feline?

Selene is such a cat

Loved the portrayal of feline sass. If a cat could talk, this would be exactly how they’d act.

Another slam dunk! loved it!

Selene makes for such a great comedic relief and their banty repertoire is heart warmingly cute. I would expect one of my moody cats to act the same. 🤣

Very entertaining

I have enjoyed this book and the previous one in this series. I appreciate the Cat espresso. The voice the reader uses for Selene brings a smile to me. Nothing too heavy just light hearted reading.

The anticipation

I liked how the storyline kept me captivated. I also liked the unexpected twists that were spread throughout the story.

I’m really enjoying this series

Danielle Garrett has done it again with the second book in her Nine Lives Magic Mystery series. I’m enjoying this new series a lot and look forward to the next to follow.

Amanda Ronconi, as always, breathes life into this new series as she brings it all to life. I recommend this book and series to fans of cozy mysteries. I suggest starting with the first book/audiobook in this series.

So much fun

This series is so much fun! Cora, and her cat familiar Selene, find themselves solving yet another mystery in their small, magical town. This book has an enjoyable cast of characters who never seem to lack for getting into shenanigans.

Very Cute

Cora likes to get into trouble. A little Nancy Drew, a little Harry Potter. Fun story.
