Another great addition
Danielle Garrett has done it again with this latest addition in her Nine Lives Mystery series. It was full of all the characters, laughter and an intriguing mystery. I always enjoy all of Ms Garrett’s books and this one did not disappoint.
Amanda Ronconi, as always gave a standout performance bringing the storyline to life and giving each character their own distinct voice.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook to cozy mystery fans.

Please don’t end!
It doesn’t matter how many books there are in this series I will never get tired of listening to Cora and Selene! With each book these two find themselves at the center of a mystery with only their wits to guide them, along with Selene’s bravado and snark. But this time it seems as if the Fates have finally caught up with Selene and the only way to keep her ninth life may be to solve this murder.

Selene and freedom
What would you do to break a familiar bond with someone? Does it include annoying a sheriff? Selene wants her freedom from Cora and will do whatever she can to get it. This story is interesting because Selene wants her freedom, but at the same time she’s scared which is something she will never admit. We see a few surprises in this story like a new fire wielder.
