Whew!!! What a freaking AMAZING conclusion!!!

Heart of My Monster, an Audiobook by Rina Kent, is the conclusion of the trilogy following Kirill and Sasha. And O. M. G. what a freaking AMAZING conclusion to this riveting trilogy!!! I’m almost sad that this couple’s story is over ☹ One would think that the third part of a trilogy would be boring and miss its mark…but, NO!!!! The truth of sooooooooo many things come out now! Each disclosure more shocking and gasp-inspiring than the last!! I nearly hyperventilated as frequently as I gasped in breaths over the newest revelation in the absolutely riveting read!! The unexpected shocks will shake you to your core!! Once again, I became totally immersed in this couple’s world. I never would have predicted this ending!!

This Audiobook was, once again, powerfully and stunningly narrated by Sebastian York and Brooke Daniels. What a team!!! These two capture the underlying emotions, motives, strengths, and weaknesses of the characters…and help to bring the listener even deeper into this danger-filled, crazy world!!! Superior performances!!

Kirill, Kirill, Kirill

Kirill carried this trilogy IMO. While I liked Sasha, she was too wishy-washy in her commitment to Kirill when he'd been nothing but down for her since day 1. Loved the trilogy, overall. Narrators were good as well.

Amazing narration and the perfect closure to them!

It's done! I can't believe that it's over, cause Sasha and Kirill will forever be one of my favorite couple from the Russian Mafia ramification in Rina's world!

Sasha was strong and wild, but she was also caring and possessive of Kirill.
The end of the last book was brutal with her emotions and I wanted to kill Kirill myself, but of course that it was all about Kirill's house of cards, and he was still pretty much only Sasha's!

This last book will untangle the secrets of Sasha's family and finally show the truth behind the massacre. I really enjoyed that revelation, and it was something around my guessing anyway.

Packed on the action, full of blood and bodies count, this book delivered everything that I needed for them both!
Kirill groveling and being the perfect man for Sasha in the cabin was my fave moment!

I cannot wait to see how the unhinged Adrian will be like with his Japanese princess!

The duo narration of Sebastian York and Brooke Daniels was amazing. I absolutely enjoyed their narration the entire time. Sebastian York is one of my favorite narrators and he knocked it out of the park. Kirill is definitely a monster, and he won't ever believe that he's in the wrong. So fair warning. But still that little monster has wormed himself into my heart and gosh, Sasha. I don't know how she does it. So many revelations were revealed in this installment that I was just *jaw dropped*. If dark mafia romance are your jam, then consider picking this one up. Its a trilogy so it can be easily read in a few days.

To the beautiful, depraved corner of your soul

The book starts with wedding scene of Kirill and Kristina. After some manipulations Kirill get his dream of Pakhan and news of Sasha’s death. Kirill’s grief 🥺 over 2 months was just heartbreaking.

I don’t like constant groveling. Half the book is Sasha fighting her feelings and I find that boring. This also means less intimate scenes which should be the best in a trilogy but not so many in this book. Sasha always regrets not telling Kirill stuff in the end and fighting her feelings. Yes he manipulated but he was also there for her.
Kirill’s heart and actions melt you. The cycle of abuse with his siblings comes to conclusion when we learn why Yulia is so awful. So much to love about all the characters including Maks and Anton ❤️

So many great scenes with the mafia crew. Scenes from other books include Rai still pregnant with Nico and Anastasia is already married to Knox. I love Adrian and Kirill’s growing closeness and advice to Kirill. Kirill’s annoyance with Rai is hilarious. Thank god she has Kyle 😍

I am so in love with all these Russian nicknames 🥰

Narration was duet style and captured voices perfectly!

I really enjoyed this series, Kirill and Sasha.
The background is the Russian military and the NY based Russian mafia.
Sasha is hiding in plain sight, as a man.
Kirill hires her as her bodyguard.
She has revenged on her mind, but things changed.
Very enjoyable book series.

This is an amazing series! Love the action, steamy sex, and romance! Plus you can never go wrong with Sebastian York!!!!

A great conclusion!

what a great conclusion! Rina Kent is an incredible storyteller and quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. This is an audiobook series to listen to again! I immersed myself into this, not wanting to pause it. Kirill and Sasha were once again fighting to get to the truth, keeping each other at arms length. I loved the ending. I'll be looking for more from this author.

Sebastian York and Brooke Daniels are excellent narrators! They have such easy to listen to voices. The duet narration was perfection and brought this book to life, like a movie rolling in my head.

When Kirill and Sasha are finally reunited, Kirill must work hard to convince Sasha that she can trust him and he will never let her go. This riveting story is fast paced with twists and turns that kept me guessing who they could trust and who was behind the betrayals.
Sebastian York, and Brooke Daniels continue to bring this story and characters to life. Their delivery, emotion, and accents are spellbinding, and I was completely lost to their performance.
What a thrilling conclusion to this emotional, suspenseful, and steamy love story!
