An absolute delight!

this book was so un predictable! You thought it was going one way and boom... another! I was so into it I finished in 2 days lol.

Misery

This book is Misery with an altered ending. It is an okay book but it’s so unoriginal it’s almost boring. If there was ever a copyright infringement case to be won... this book is it.

Great Until Halfway

The story started out really good, I listened to the first half in about two days, but then all of a sudden I knew exactly how the story would end. Nothing about the 2nd half was really that interesting.

So good!

Took me a minute to understand who was who (reader) but once I did, I was hooked!

Trust the process!!

Wow... wow... WOW !! Master of misdirection is right!! No matter what you're thinking as you listen... trust the process (including the narrators) ! This book is truly a psychological thriller. And, this was the kind of book that, not only is it worth the credit, I will definitely listen to again (something I rarely do) , as a matter of fact, it's going to be my next book club pick. I can't wait for that discussion!!

Goodnight beautiful

Fun story. Ending was a bit tidy for me. I found the voice of Albert bitterman confusing, since he sounded like a woman, and I kept forgetting the character was a man. Otherwise the storytelling was good. Story itself is fun.

loved this book

I actually struggled in the beginning of the book. This was mainly because I felt it took too long to get to a point or twist. Once it happened it was great. I was a little annoyed with the 40 smoker voice but I was able to deal with it after a while. I was told to go into this book blind and I'm glad i did! I definitely recommend this book!

The best book I have read so far ... Wonderful!

Story kept my attention. Fun twists. The narration was spot on. Make sure you read this one.

Disappointed

Very, very slow start. Difficulty getting past the readers voice. Predictable ending. Listened to it all hoping there’d be a twist— spoiler alert. There was not.

A breath of fresh air!

This genre is one of my favorites, but I often come across stories with very similar themes and overused plots. This was a nice change of pace and the narration was great.
