Is this a remake?

I love this story, but had an eerily odd feeling I had read this book, probably as a short story, around 20 years ago. The Silent Patient is a great story, a who-dun-it that starts out with everyone knowing who-did-it, but no one knows why. As the story unfolds, I felt the tension building inside of me. The story was well laid out, very well written, and orated well by the the narrator/voice actor. I could associate, at least a little, with most of the characters, even the minor characters. The sense of deja-vu became stronger and stronger until the why is revealed and I recalled I had read this (or a short story) decades ago with the exact same storyline.

Thrilling, couldn’t stop listening !!

This story was intense! Was she crazy, or did someone do it? This is the first time I can recall being completely dumbfounded when you find out the resolve . I loved how everything fell into place , pure brilliance!

It takes a lot to surprise me. This book surprised me, and it held me captive from beginning to end. So good!!

Agatha Christie’s fans be warned, you will fall in love with this writer. I loved the story, I had to re-listen to some parts of it to make sure it was for real. The plot was well thought out and the details were immaculate. You are in for a treat.
