No Hate but…

It’s way to slow for me that’s just my opinion.
It has good potential.
It’s a great story plot.
It’s just tooooo slow.

Still one of my favorite series

I’ve ready this series three times now and I still love it because I discover new elements every time. I highly recommend this series for fans of An Ember In The Ashes, Girl of Fire and Thorns, The Jewel, Ruby Red, Divergent, Ruined, etc.

Good book, sappy romance

Enjoyed the overall story but could have done without the over the top sappy romance. Also tends to be overly descriptive writing.

Great book

I really enjoyed this book, the only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the beginning. It took a little bit for the book to capture me but once it picked up I loved it!

Totally worth it! Give it a try!

I will admit the first 2 chapters were a little slow. I had to start over a few times. But by chapter 3 I was hooked. I found myself holding my breath in anticipation for what was coming next. Think hunger games with the action of red rising mixed with a little of the teenage angst from twilight. A sure hit. can't wait for book 2

Very well wrote but...

I feel that a lot books are using thissme story line and changing a few thins here and there. The story was good and I gave the author 4 stars because the work was there. However I feel we need a new spin rather then an arena an such.

Greatest books I've ever read and heard.

The characters were perfect. I love the love story between Ruby and Arcus, the friendly monks, Ruby's determination, Arcus's story and loyalty, and the twist.

10/10 would recommend.
