Insanely good narrators for a fantastic story

From the very first chapter, The Forgotten Dawn grabs you by the collar and refuses to let go—and the duet narration by Gabriel Michael and Rylee Kuberra elevates this gripping fantasy romance into something truly unforgettable. Their performances are nothing short of perfect. Each character feels fully realized, their voices distinct and emotionally charged, making it easy to get lost in the lush, dangerous world Laura A. Blake has created.

If you're a fan of tense romantic drama, fated mates (or are they?), magic, secrets, and scheming fae courts, this book is absolutely for you. The plot moves at a breakneck pace from the very start, mixing romantic tension with high-stakes political intrigue and unexpected twists. There are secret identities to unravel, dangerous truths lurking beneath every interaction, and a world that feels as enchanting as it is treacherous.

The chemistry between the leads practically crackles through the speakers, thanks to the chemistry between the narrators and Blake’s evocative writing. Great characters

This book kept my interest from the beginning. I loved getting to know everyone and I’m always happy to have strong women in a story. I’m anxious for the next book in the series.

Great story with a cliffhanger!

It didn’t take long to get wrapped up in this!! Great story building that made you fall in love with all the characters! Loved all the different relationships/friendships and the tension. Ending leaves you craving book 2!!!

Truth hides in shadows. The more you know, the less you do.

Single-POV brilliance. Brida owns this story—her heart, her mother’s hidden secrets, and the looming betrayal of Dainan’s wedding to someone else. The tension is exquisite, the prophecy threads are addictive, and I can feel devastation on the horizon.

The duet narration (Gabriel Michael & Rylee Kuberra) is pure magic—intimate, immersive, and impossible to step away from. I’m only at Chapter 50 with two hours left, but I already know The Forgotten Dawn is unforgettable.

Love love love this story! I originally got the ebook as an arc but when release day came and went and I hadn’t finished. I decided to try this format so I could listen while I did daily tasks. I got so lost in this world and this story that I found myself looking for more chores just to keep going!
