Perhaps she had to guard not only her body, but her heart. For a dragon mates for life, and they're hard pressed to give up their treasures.

Pixies, elves, dragons and other magical creatures

I am so happy I finally picked this book up off my TBR. I love Emma’s writing style. The words flow easily and create the most beautiful image in your mind. I have yet to pick up a book of Hamm’s that I didn’t like.

Absolute Romantic Fantasy Gold

LOVE this series!! You need to listen to this series. The writing is great the narrators are great!!

Good story-Great narration

The author did a good job on world building. Lore, female lead, is a little too whiny and "and why me" than I like in "strong" female leads; but still likeable.

Abraxus is the dark knight and shining armour. By no means perfect; just as a main hero should be in, my opinion.

The plot is a bit predictable only because I have listened to soooo much romantic fantasy. But the author threw a few surprises in that made the overall story a nice listen.

Narration is wonderful. I enjoy listening to the male and female voices. These are 2 of my favorite narrators so that's another plus!

If you enjoy Sarah J. Maas and Jennifer Armentrout, you will likely enjoy this story. It is very similar in theme but much shorter in length. T It was worth the credit for me. I have already purchased the other books.

I like the name choices in this story, rather than the typical "John"s and "Jane"s outside the main character. The story is even interesting.

Captured My Interest

I enjoyed this first book. In the end, I was really hoping for the dragon and half elf. There were surprises and lingering questions. Of course a cliffhanger, which I don’t really like. I will hoverer, check the next book because I want to know what happens next.
