I am so happy I finally picked this book up off my TBR. I love Emma’s writing style. The words flow easily and create the most beautiful image in your mind. I have yet to pick up a book of Hamm’s that I didn’t like.

Captured My Interest

I enjoyed this first book. In the end, I was really hoping for the dragon and half elf. There were surprises and lingering questions. Of course a cliffhanger, which I don’t really like. I will hoverer, check the next book because I want to know what happens next.

Emma does it again!

Okay I know this is on her backlist but holy crap! I wish I didn’t wait so long to read it. I love how the story was told and the important themes spotlighted during the book.
