Perfect dark romance

This is one of the BEST audiobooks I have ever listened to. The story was great. (Please check trigger warnings) and the narrators were amazing. They really made this book come to life.

That's a LOT..

This book was a lot, and that's saying something when I read VERY dark books with a ton of triggers. I almost gave up on it but, I kept and I'm glad I did. Malier...lmao I can safely say I could stab and carve him up with a smile, while smack and hug the other. The ending though -eye twitch- alas off I go to buy the other cuz I can't wait. Sorry for being unable to eloquently describe what this book makes one feel but damn you'll get it once you hear the entire story.

great story line

Great story line, great character development. Kept me guessing, and sad that it ended. Voice actors did wonderful! Liked the changing of point of view. Perfect spicy scenes and hard rough emotional ones.

there should be a trigger warning. a lot of sa and abuse

I can in seeing their should be trigger warnings not realizing of the 2 main love interests one sa and assaults her... a lot.

Slow start with plot holes

I had a difficult time getting into this but stayed for the spice. I really started hot get hooked about half way thru. On to the second book.

It was alright

Felt a bit forced at times and predictable. Yet entertaining all the same. I probably won’t listen to the second one.

Good not great

Took until the end to really hold my attention, good premise and world building, was expecting it to be more exciting. Ending was somewhat predictable.

Do not think happy.

It is a cliffhanger. It is emotional. It is essential to guard your mental health. If you are not secure in your mental health or strong I advise you get strong before listening. Otherwise it is depressingly beautiful.

I guess I wasn’t ready for all the heat! But I listened till the end. Very interesting turn of events too! Interested to read the next one once I get this fire out 😂

I wish trigger warnings were at the beginning of the book ….

I was not prepared for the deeply traumatic and graphically detailed scenes. One shouldn’t have to go to a website to be informed of trigger warnings…I believe they should be made clear at the beginning of the book. Ultimately, the story was interesting and the character development was compelling. I will be listening to the next book prepared.
