This is a well written series! I really enjoyed the mystery of it and the setting of the plot! The friendship of the 3 main characters evolves naturally and I love they work together to help each other with their weaknesses and strengths!

As others have reviewed, this book is extremely simple. Its writing, plot, and characters are all pretty basic. The book really does feel like it should have been for teens. You can see nearly everything coming well in advance if you've read (listened to) the genre before. I guess there's nothing wrong with those types of stories, but it probably should have been marketed and advertised thusly.

The narrator seemed to do well. It wasn't their fault that this audiobook did not really hold my attention.
