Great read!

Well written story that is fast paced and very entertaining. Definitely recommend even for folks not overly familiar with Kentucky.

This book is a raw look at backwoods crime in rural Appalachia. It’s not the Hatfields and McCoys, but it is about grudges and loyalty, in a world outside of lawfulness and polite society. Both the innocent and the guilty suffer. I won’t say I enjoyed it but I will think about it and I dare say it’ll stick with me.

Good story. Outstanding narration. Story a little gruesome in places, but necessary to the storyline. Enjoyed it!

Amazing narrator

The story was written ok not really believable but the narrator was amazing so talented!

Pretty good story...

This normally isn't my genre, so I went in with no expectations. It was a pretty good story, and it didn't get too slow or bore me. The narration was superb and only added to this overall story.

Best narrator I’ve ever heard!

The storyline was good, kept my attention all the way through. Matt Godfrey’s narration was one of the best I’ve ever heard and made the book much more enjoyable.

Strong start but then…

The book had a strong start and I could not stop listening. But then there is a huge conflict and the book lost steam after that.
