Crazy in love with this book!

I am crazy in love with this new release from Laura Pavlov! It’s hands down my favorite in the Rosewood River series so far! Bridger and Emilia completely stole my heart, and I was fully obsessed with their fiery enemies-to-lovers romance.

If you’ve read the earlier books, then you already know that Bridger Chadwick cannot stand Emilia Taylor; mostly because he’s convinced she’s behind the infamous “Taylor Tea,” the gossip article in their local paper that keeps exposing secrets about his family. He’s protective to a fault and a bit of a control freak, so when Emilia sets the record straight, he’s not exactly quick to apologize. Talk about a stubborn man!

Their journey to each other was a slow burn in the best possible way, with so much tension, chemistry, and anticipation. And wow, was it worth the wait. Their connection felt authentic, the banter was sharp and fun, and the romance was so heartfelt.

As always, one of my favorite aspects of Pavlov’s writing is the strong sense of family. Bridger may seem like a total grump, but his soft side shines through in his moments with his niece, nephew, and mom, and eventually, with Emilia too. And Emilia? I adored her. She’s sweet, determined, and quietly fierce. Watching her chase her dreams and stand her ground was so satisfying.

This book had everything I love in a small-town romance: incredible chemistry, lovable characters, and my favorite tropes, grumpy/sunshine and enemies-to-lovers. I already can't wait for the next installment in the series, but honestly, it’s going to be hard for any couple to top these two!

Perfect narration

Crazy in Love is book 4 in the Rosewood River series from author Laura Pavlov. I thought I had met my favorite characters until Bridger and Emilia come along. The tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. I just couldn't stop listening to this book.
If you have read previous books in this series then you know that Emilia and Bridgers have never seen eye to eye on much of anything. When Bridger wrongly accuses Emilia of something that tension comes to a boil and she wants an apology.
Their path from hate to love was a bit of a slow burn.
Like I had previously mentioned there was so much tension between them. Listening to this story you get to know why Bridger is the way he is, he carries a lot in his heart, which makes him more misguided n misunderstood. Emilia has her own battles with her family to overcome and honestly your heart hurts for both of them.
As always Laura balances the emotions in this story with tension and banter. It's always spot on. The found family in this book was fantastic and this couple might be my favorite.
Vanessa Vasquez and Jason Clarke perform this audiobook in duet narration. Both narrators were phenomenal. Jason is fast moving to top of my list he's just THAT good. Jason's deep voice definitely portrayed Bridger perfectly. Vanessa, all be it a newer to me narrator was equally great. She balances well with Jason and has a softer, fun and sassy narration as Emilia. The banter and tension was just perfect.

5 He Turns Her World Upside Down Stars!!

Since this series started, my anticipation for this book couldn’t be measured. With each book I wondered who Ms. Pavlov was going to pair with Bridger Chadwick. When I found out it was Emilia Taylor I may have let out a little bit of a cackle laugh because I just knew this book would be FIRE!!!

Ms. Pavlov exceeded my expectations for their story. If two people could be more opposite than these two I’m not sure who they would be. Bridger is closed off to everyone but his family (we get so much of his history in this book), cutthroat when it comes to business and is 100% convinced that Emilia is fully responsible for the local gossip column that reports his family’s comings and goings.

I was lucky enough to listen to the audiobook which is wonderfully narrated by Jason Clarke and Vanessa Vasquez. Their ability to inhabit each of the characters made me feel like I was living in Rosewood River. They bring the right intensity to the highly emotional scenes but then when Bridger and Emilia are in throes of passion or teasing each other, (yes Bridger Chadwick knows how to lighten up a little bit) I found myself smiling, swooning and sighing.

There’s an incredible amount of self-discovery in this book for both Bridger and Emilia. My heart broke on so many occasions for both of them. I loved how their story progressed and the “friends with benefits” deal they made, while I’m listening to their negotiations with a huge smile on my face knowing full and well that this arrangement wasn’t going to last. They both need each other in different ways and are truly each other’s other half. Their passion is unrivaled, they help each other heal and in Emilia’s case, giving her the strength to do something she’s needed to do for a very long time. I loved getting a bird’s eye view into their blossoming and consuming love.

This book is the perfect addition to this series!

Perfect enemies to lovers 😍

I love enemies to lovers when they truly HATE each other and this was it! These two are true enemies and the banter was amazing! I’ll always devour books with a grumpy MMC and grumpy Bridger was 🤌🏻💋. We meet Bridger in the prior books and I didn’t know what to think of him. He was so much more than I expected. His growth in this book was so good and Emilia was a big part of that. 🥹 I love the Chadwick family dynamic and mama Chadwick really pulled on my heart in this book 🥺.

P.S. I just love that Beefcake always has wise words 🤣🥹

I love a grumpy hero with a soft side and Bridger is that! This book was so good. I loled and cried.

Bridger is one stubborn MMC who cannot accept that Emilia is not the secret author of the Taylor Tea (but really... who do we think it is?!?)! This obvs causes a lot of friction between the two, until Bridger finally comes to his senses :) Then he turns into the biggest softy around her, and I loved every second of it.

I really loved this couple's dynamic and honestly, I just LOVE Emilia. She is smart, hard working, funny, and loving and watching her and Bridger give into their feelings and fall in love was just so damn cute and heartfelt!

Cannot recommend this book (and series) enough!

Bridger & Emilia

Every time I read one of Laura’s books, I know I’m in for something exceptional. This one left me absolutely breathless. I knew I was going to enjoy Bridger and Emilia’s story but I am still blown away by their story. Laura’s writing is pure magic. It is effortless and emotional but yet hilarious and entertaining. It pulls you in and refuses to let go. This is book four of the Rosewood River series and my new favorite! It can be read as a standalone, but you will have missed a lot of funny interactions between Bridger and Emilia.

If you have been reading the series, you know that Bridger detests Emilia. He thinks she is behind the Taylor Tea and makes it pretty obvious that he has it out for her. We also learn of some more events from their past that has led to Bridger feeling this way. But unfortunately for Bridger, Emilia is good friends with the girls in his group and can’t seem to get away from her.

While Emilia is trying to prove herself innocent, Bridger is trying to apologize with a toilet. Their banter is top tier! When Bridger finally starts to see her for who she is, their chemistry becomes undeniable. The love story of these two people who hated each other is nothing short of stunning. Every moment between them was raw, tender, and deeply moving in a way that lingers for a long time.

Jason Clarke and Vanessa Vasquez narrated this book and really made these characters their own. I give Jason props for being able to make it through some of the ridiculous things he had to say without laughing. But when they both let their guard down and become vulnerable, you can really feel that in the performance. They nailed the chemistry between their characters.

I just want more.

the story grab me right from the beginning.
it's a book I'll listen to again.

Bridger & Emilia are top tier

In all seriousness, this book is one of my top favorites by Laura Pavlov. I am still in such aww at the way that she was able to make you feel such a deep connection with Bridger and Emilia. They’re not just characters, they feel like family. I truly love these two so dang much. The emotions, the feels, the swoon, the stubbornness and determination, the spice….it all came together to give us this story that was honestly just such a breath of fresh air for me in this wide and vast world of romance books.

Things I loved:
•I loved the way Emilia was determined to show Bridger his wrongs. Get ready for lots of laughs. The whole gang will have you highly entertained.
•I loved how vulnerable Bridger made himself to Emilia.
•I loved how Emilia knew what she wanted and was determined to follow her dreams.
•I loved how Bridger stood up for Emilia. Can we talk about the total drop the mic, swoon fest moment.
•I loved getting all the drop ins, special moments, and never ending banter between all the family and friends.
 
This book was heartwarming and guaranted to give you all those HEA Vibes.

Bridger and Emilia…

Crazy in Love is the fourth book in the Rosewood River series. It is a grumpy/sunshine, small town, enemies to lovers romance. This one has sizzling chemistry, the small town vibes we love, hysterical group chats, spice and all the feels. I laughed out loud, swooned and wanted to smack Bridger a few times. He and Emilia are the perfect fit. I loved this story.

Vanessa Vasquez and Jason Clarke did an amazing job bringing this story and these characters to life.
