Crazy in love with this book!

I am crazy in love with this new release from Laura Pavlov! It’s hands down my favorite in the Rosewood River series so far! Bridger and Emilia completely stole my heart, and I was fully obsessed with their fiery enemies-to-lovers romance.

If you’ve read the earlier books, then you already know that Bridger Chadwick cannot stand Emilia Taylor; mostly because he’s convinced she’s behind the infamous “Taylor Tea,” the gossip article in their local paper that keeps exposing secrets about his family. He’s protective to a fault and a bit of a control freak, so when Emilia sets the record straight, he’s not exactly quick to apologize. Talk about a stubborn man!

Their journey to each other was a slow burn in the best possible way, with so much tension, chemistry, and anticipation. And wow, was it worth the wait. Their connection felt authentic, the banter was sharp and fun, and the romance was so heartfelt.

As always, one of my favorite aspects of Pavlov’s writing is the strong sense of family. Bridger may seem like a total grump, but his soft side shines through in his moments with his niece, nephew, and mom, and eventually, with Emilia too. And Emilia? I adored her. She’s sweet, determined, and quietly fierce. Watching her chase her dreams and stand her ground was so satisfying.

This book had everything I love in a small-town romance: incredible chemistry, lovable characters, and my favorite tropes, grumpy/sunshine and enemies-to-lovers. I already can't wait for the next installment in the series, but honestly, it’s going to be hard for any couple to top these two!

I love a grumpy hero with a soft side and Bridger is that! This book was so good. I loled and cried.

Perfect narration

Crazy in Love is book 4 in the Rosewood River series from author Laura Pavlov. I thought I had met my favorite characters until Bridger and Emilia come along. The tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. I just couldn't stop listening to this book.
If you have read previous books in this series then you know that Emilia and Bridgers have never seen eye to eye on much of anything. When Bridger wrongly accuses Emilia of something that tension comes to a boil and she wants an apology.
Their path from hate to love was a bit of a slow burn.
Like I had previously mentioned there was so much tension between them. Listening to this story you get to know why Bridger is the way he is, he carries a lot in his heart, which makes him more misguided n misunderstood. Emilia has her own battles with her family to overcome and honestly your heart hurts for both of them.
As always Laura balances the emotions in this story with tension and banter. It's always spot on. The found family in this book was fantastic and this couple might be my favorite.
Vanessa Vasquez and Jason Clarke perform this audiobook in duet narration. Both narrators were phenomenal. Jason is fast moving to top of my list he's just THAT good. Jason's deep voice definitely portrayed Bridger perfectly. Vanessa, all be it a newer to me narrator was equally great. She balances well with Jason and has a softer, fun and sassy narration as Emilia. The banter and tension was just perfect.

5 He Turns Her World Upside Down Stars!!

Since this series started, my anticipation for this book couldn’t be measured. With each book I wondered who Ms. Pavlov was going to pair with Bridger Chadwick. When I found out it was Emilia Taylor I may have let out a little bit of a cackle laugh because I just knew this book would be FIRE!!!

Ms. Pavlov exceeded my expectations for their story. If two people could be more opposite than these two I’m not sure who they would be. Bridger is closed off to everyone but his family (we get so much of his history in this book), cutthroat when it comes to business and is 100% convinced that Emilia is fully responsible for the local gossip column that reports his family’s comings and goings.

I was lucky enough to listen to the audiobook which is wonderfully narrated by Jason Clarke and Vanessa Vasquez. Their ability to inhabit each of the characters made me feel like I was living in Rosewood River. They bring the right intensity to the highly emotional scenes but then when Bridger and Emilia are in throes of passion or teasing each other, (yes Bridger Chadwick knows how to lighten up a little bit) I found myself smiling, swooning and sighing.

There’s an incredible amount of self-discovery in this book for both Bridger and Emilia. My heart broke on so many occasions for both of them. I loved how their story progressed and the “friends with benefits” deal they made, while I’m listening to their negotiations with a huge smile on my face knowing full and well that this arrangement wasn’t going to last. They both need each other in different ways and are truly each other’s other half. Their passion is unrivaled, they help each other heal and in Emilia’s case, giving her the strength to do something she’s needed to do for a very long time. I loved getting a bird’s eye view into their blossoming and consuming love.

This book is the perfect addition to this series!

Perfect enemies to lovers 😍

I love enemies to lovers when they truly HATE each other and this was it! These two are true enemies and the banter was amazing! I’ll always devour books with a grumpy MMC and grumpy Bridger was 🤌🏻💋. We meet Bridger in the prior books and I didn’t know what to think of him. He was so much more than I expected. His growth in this book was so good and Emilia was a big part of that. 🥹 I love the Chadwick family dynamic and mama Chadwick really pulled on my heart in this book 🥺.

P.S. I just love that Beefcake always has wise words 🤣🥹

Gosh, there is something special about reading Laura's books. They never disappoint. Always full of banter, swoon, and spice, and of course this one was no different!

I simply loved the push and pull between Bridger and Emilia! He needs to apologize to her after finding out she is not the one behind the Taylor Tea, but he will honestly do ANYTHING to avoid saying those two words.

These two had me cackling, and their tension had me rooting from them right from the beginning.

This story was so perfect. I enjoyed seeing all the cameos and the family chats are always a good time. Plus we cannot forget the special appearance by fan favourite, Beefcake!!

Vanessa and Jason clark absolutely slayed this book! PERFECTION, NO NOTES.

Lover boy and his angel

This was the Chadwick story I was desperate for. After learning a small piece about Bridger from Over The Moon I needed to better understand this man. This story followed rivals Emilia Taylor and Bridger Chadwick. Bridger had it out for Emilia since they were teens and never let up. He always carried such a chip on his shoulder and we finally learned why. This story was perfect enemies to lovers. Bridger storms into Emilia’s flower shop spreading comments that she writes the annoymous column in their town and it was a struggle Emilia faced daily with him. Emilia did everything in her power to prove that she was not the writer behind the anonymous column, but it was still not enough for Bridger. Emilia struggled with Bridger’s negativity but also her family. Her mom is awful. The way she treated Emilia was gross. And her dad….its clear who is in charge in the relationship…Emilia deserves better family. Good thing the Chadwick’s always have space for everyone.

When Bridger was able to put some of the drama to rest he helped Emilia in many ways. The relationship that grew between these two was beautiful to hear. Bridger the forever bachelor realized really quickly Emilia may not be one to let get away. Emilia was just what Bridger needed. These two were made for each other. Even when Bridger let his past get into his head Emilia was there for him.

I absolutely loved these two and I feel Like I keep Saying thing after every Laura Pavlov release.. she truly does not miss. It was amazing to see beef cake again I love that little man along with the other familiar faces. This interconnected world is perfect.

The question I’m still desperate to find out…..who writes the Taylor tea!

So many laugh out loud moments!

I knew I was going to like getting to know grumpy billionaire Bridger, but I don't think I expected him to steal my heart the way he did. His backstory tugs on your heartstrings, and the way he learns to love himself better was just so poignant. I expected Emilia to be sunshine and rainbows, but there is so much depth and hurt in her life story, too. They just fit so much better than I ever could have anticipated. The banter between them, and the text messages between the brothers and their other halves were probably the best parts of the book. So many laugh out loud moments. Oh, and I really want a High End Toilet even more now. This book had it all. Laughter. Heartbreak. Banter. All of the Tension. Spice. It's basically everything you want in a romance. Plus a trip to Paris! I highly recommend listening to the audiobook. Jason Clarke and Vanessa Vasquez bring these characters to life in the best way!

Such a great read!

I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook of Crazy In Love by Laura Pavlov and I just loved it. This is the fourth book in the series and can be read as a standalone as each book is about an interconnected couple, but I do have to say I have loved every book in the series. This is a small-town, billionaire romance with enemies to lovers and grumpy/sunshine tropes. Narrated by Jason Clarke and Vanessa Vassquez, they truly brought Bridger and Emilia’s story to life for me. If you have read any of the previous books in the series, you know how Bridger feels about Emilia and things finally come to a head between them.

Bridger truly believes Emilia is behind the “Taylor Tea” gossip column in the local paper that keeps his family front and center and he is determined to stop her at any cost. Emilia wants him to realize she is not the person behind that gossip column and wants an apology. Should be easy, right? And yet, Bridger is stubborn and wants to just move on, but life if never that easy. He is grumpy and determined and yet also protective of those he cares about. Emilia is so likable and caring and yet can be just as determined when needed. I loved both characters so much as well as their family and the found family aspect. Their journey is a slow burn romance with witty banter and the best kind of chemistry. I loved their journey so much and highly recommend not only their story but the entire series so far! A must-read for sure.

I just KNEW that Bridger Chadwick would give me everything. Boy, oh boy, did he ever! Grumpy x sunshine is such a guilty pleaser trope of mine and Laura has written some of my all time favorite grumps. Bridger may have just taken the coveted crown. The stoic Chadwick boy who lives on grunts and harrumphs, prefers minimal socialization and secretly loves to protect and provide for his family and friends has found his perfect match in Emilia Taylor. YES. THAT Emilia. The suspected author of the Taylor Tea, Emilia. Their enemies to lovers story has been so anticipated for me and it did NOT disappoint. Emilia was sassy and spunky and I absolutely loved how she didn’t sit there and take Bridger’s wrath lying down. Determined to prove her innocence, their relationship blooms so organically and beautifully over the course of the book. The way I was NOT anticipating Bridger’s filthy mouth!?🫠😮‍💨 We love a man who works on himself and we love a man that goes all in once he’s in. It wasn’t an easy road for them but it was so worth it in the end. I also could read an entire book of Laura’s group text chats, so there’s that as well. Laura never lets me down and I cannot wait for Axel and Wren’s story. 5/5 stars!!
