i liked listening to the voice actor...story kept me hooked more than book 2...can wait to see what happens to Maz and Reyna

I like the story line and bits of romance. Sometimes the readers voice is monotone between characters and hard to differentiate between them.

What was that ending?!?

Holy freaking plot twist!! I knew it was something, but I sure as hell didn't expect that!!!

Descent story and characters, Lia Holland narration ruins it

The story and characters are compelling. The prose is a bit simple. Could have been great but Lia Holland is TERRIBLE in this. Not sure if she was directed poorly or if she’s just inherently terrible. The flat tone and repeated pitch of her narration is mind numbing at best, and downright irritating at worst. I actually did an internet search to confirm she’s a real person and not an AI generated voice. But I think AI would have done better. She’s the opposite of a dynamic narrator. Let loose and tell the damn story in an interesting voice, Lia. I’m certain you have it in you. Whoever coached you through this really did you a disservice.
