Wow

I love A. Zavarelli. I know her books tend to be darker. I have enjoyed her books. This book is really well written and so richly detailed. That having been said, it was a little dark for my tastes. Even so, I had to finish the book. It was really good. It's not my personal preference, but it says a lot that I still could not put it down. The narration was so good. The narrators embody the roles so much.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Heartfelt & Intense!

A. Zavarelli pens another amazing book for her “Sin City Salvation” series. She is a master at writing dark romance, her storylines are interesting and intense, they grabbed me right in and held my mind straight to the end. The characters are complex and well developed. I adored both lead characters, they are two broken and tortured souls but they perfect together and for each other. Birdie is Gypsy’s sister, their childhood was tragic but the two survived the best way they could. Birdie is still dealing with scum from her past which comes back with a vengeance. Ace’s life has not been easy, he too had a screwed up childhood which lead to a screwed up adulthood. He became obsessed with Birdie after keeping an eye on her for Lucian, Gypsy’s husband. Gypsy is concerned about Birdies so she asks Ace to take her away and keep her safe. I loved how everything plays out in this book, loved getting to know more about both Ace and Birdie, loved all the drama, angst, twists, thrilling suspense, mystery and most of all loved the chemistry between Ace and Birdie and the hot romance. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone but I highly recommend reading or listening to the first book “Confess”, which is Lucian and Gyspy’s story. A. Zavarelli, thank you for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Aaron Shedlock and Kelsey Navarro are fantastic narrators and talented voice artists. They bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture and project the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story into their performance. Aaron’s portrayal of Ace and Kelsey’s Birdie were spot on, they sounded like I pictured them in my mind. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen🎧

Intense Great Story

I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. I didn't listen to the first book in this series, but I didn't need to. This was a complete story of Ace and Berdie. What screwed up people! How two people who are messed up as these two can find love is amazing. I couldn't figure out which one was the most screwed up person. For these two to come together and get their life straightened out was very enlightening. Loved the story that Zavarelli presented to us. She is an amazing author with a talent for writing deep, compelling stories. The narrators did an excellent job with the characters and the story. Kept me on the edge throughout. Couldn't put it down.

Hot and steamy

Convict had me glued to my earbuds from beginning to end! If loving it is wrong I don’t want to be right!
