I loved each of the narrators, and their part in such a complex story. I can't wait for book 2!

Emotional and Captivating

I really enjoyed this book. I didn’t pay attention to the summary of it so the steamy part of it was quite the surprise. I read it and whisper sync it. What really enhanced this book was the narrators! The story was unique and held my interest until wee hours of the AM. I look forward to the next one in the series.

Steamy and new ideas

4.5 Stars the only reason I did not give it a full five stars was because there were too many sex scenes. Now granted each one built upon the storyline of trust and releasing oneself over to vulnerabilities so I get it. I just thought there could have been a little more story building. Most of the storyline was built at the end. Where everything coalesced into who the girls really were and how the curse could be broken. Clearly written with another book in mind, it will be nice to see how things pan out.

Great story

I loved the world and character building. This story captured me from the very beginning.

I liked Ash from the beginning, felt for him as every 100 years he got a new consort that he bonded with only to lose his mortal love. The members of the high court were interesting; I would like learn more about them. This is my one problem with audio books, the difficulty highlighting passages I would like to refer back to later. I was especially curious about Ash’s interest in the handmaiden from the beginning, as much as he was bonded to his consort, he made an effort to include her in his affections.

If you love ACOTAR, you will love this fantasy/romance. It has just the right amount of spice and tension!

while the story was ok nothing really stood out either. The sex scenes were interesting but the convoluted story was less interesting.
