The best yet

I loved this book and I was not expecting it. I had not known this book was being released since I have listened to the author before. I could not stop laughing and listening for what was to happen next. The voices were great some I had heard from other books and they made each character their own. I recommend this book for anyone and the author for everyone. I’m going to listen to it again.

I Want More!

When it's one of your favorite authors when don't you want more. I'm so sad that I've reached the end of this book
Winter Dellavale and her ragtag group ummm coven of friends turn family seek shelter or more like asylum in Devils Cradle. This "coven" is hilarious and deadly. This is a mostly underground city that houses all types of supernatural creatures that are ruled by 7 ancients, Able, Seth, Lilleth, Ashtar and Hazazel are some of them.

the narrator is great. The story is fresh and exciting. I was dying of laughter one moment and jumping up and down from excitement the next moment.
I really love the mystery. You won't get all your questions answered, and you are in the dark about a lot of things.
I really can't wait for the next book and continue the story.

Love It!

This is a lot like "Dark in You", the similarities are overwhelming, but I can't help but love it. All her friends are crazy like her. The biblical concept is different. I love Knox Thorn from Darn in you and listened to all the books and hated to see the series end. So, I am ok with the similarities as far as the basic theme of the story. Love me some Cat Doucette, her voice is better in this story than the other series, she did not sound winey in this story. I have to recommend this story for purchase, OH, by the way it's HOT as HELL, classic Suzanne Wright!!!! Just purchased the next book, see you in the next book's reviews.

holds your interest from beginning

Very entertaining from go. Have a good story line. the characters are not weak .

Although some of the characters have similar characteristics as characters from her past series, this world is very different from her previous worlds.

Be advised that there is graphic sexual encounters and descriptive violence. There are also elements of a D/s type relationship, although the s partner is only so during intimate scenes.

There are definitely interesting characters and some are also mentally shaky.

All and all, I think this will an entertaining series and I’m looking forward to the release of the next book!

Can't wait for the next book!

I love all of Ms. Wright's paranormal romance books and this book was no exception. This reminds me alot of her "Dark in You", series which she has just completed. This new series time period seems more otherworldly and less contemporary than her other books. You have your usual paranormal characters such as witches, shifters, angels, and demons. There's laugh out loud scenes, mystery, revenge, family, friends and romance/sex scenes. It starts kind of slow, but the big battle fight was epic. The narrator Cat Doucette was perfect as usuaI. I think it's worth a credit, but I'm a die hard fan!
