Her best book in a long time
I loved loved loved this book. She hasn't written a book to grab me like that in a long time. She is truly one of my favorite authors which is why I still read her knowing that she is going to write more great books. Worth the credit and time and what can I say about Jim Frangione, love him in BDB and he brings a lot to what I think is going to be a great series. Now if only she can find another word besides implacable.

Another hit series by Christine Feehan!
This series lives more in the realm of regular modern romance, but continues to have a bit of the paranormal in it. It was surprising and enjoyable. Jim Frangione continues to be one of my favorite narrators. On to the next book in the series!

Sexual innuendos & not enough plot. Like the idea but was too busy with sexual descriptions. Gonna try book 2 & if it's the same gonna call it quits on this series.

NOT my favorite Feehan book.
this is a dark-ish story about a family of assassins that can travel through shadows. the hero is super alpha and controlling. he's kinda a dick. and the female lead is a simpering ninny. who is more than happy to have babies and turn a blind eye to all the bad things the family does in the name of protecting the neighborhood. it is a lame story and way too long. definitely NOT my favorite Feehan.

Remove the excessive porn for a great series
I absolutely love Feehan's other series. For some reason, Feehan loaded this book with an unbelievable amount of unnecessary porn. Feehan creats a great balance of intense romance with adventure and excitement. I would have like more shadow rider experience. Perhaps the next book in the series will expand on the shadow riders
