A great random find!

This book showed up on my app as a free book,so I said why not! Turns out to be a fabulous book. I cannot wait to start the next book.

really good series.

I love the angel demon aspects and how good isn't always good and bad doesn't mean evil. I love how this series comes together. Great world building and characters you root for. over all worth a credit. very good narrators too

This is a good series. I actually finished it and it’s well worth repeating as I’m doing now listening to it again.

I ADORE this series

This is my second read through of this entire series. I thought I really liked it the first time, but after I finished all the books I realized I missed all the main characters. And to me, that’s the sign a book is incredible. I wish the rest of the series had an audiobook but maybe we will be lucky enough to get them soon.

I think the way mainstream religion and extremism and bigotry is explored in this series is the truly captivating part. The spice in this book is minimal but it does heat up for the rest of the series. I highly recommend the entire series.

Religious cult awakening that went nowhere

A cliffhanger at the end of a book that went absolutely nowhere and tortured the reader with overthinking monologues does not merit a credit for book 2. The connection and interaction between MFC and male leads was actually not the worst, there was just so little of it between all the internal monologues from all the leads that just went on and on and on. Fast forwarded through a good portion of the redundant self talk about herself, the “forbidden” situation, her brainwashing cult parents, etc and not really sure why or how I got through it.
