Mostly a Waste of Time
This book takes a long time to say little. They spent at least 3 hours talking about linguistics. Not from a psychological approach, but from a sociological one. Yes, Chomsky was a linguistic, but we don't need to be linguists to appreciate his contribution to cognitive psychology. The rest of the book isnt much better. The narrator makes the situation even worse. His tone is dull and monotone. He pauses for a complete second at each period. Sometimes he has moments of natural speech, but they are fleeting.
