Picking up.
The pace picked up a lot in the this book. Really got to know and love the characters. The cliff hanger really got me because the next book is a novella from Nephele and Nerin’s POV and we have to wait until the next book comes out (currently being written, but this year).

So I read the first book of the series so I cannot speak to that one. BUT, I can say I purchased this one with the highest expectations and so far don't know if I can finish it. I absolutely hate the female narrators voice and her attempt at male voices. it's like nails on a chalkboard and almost unbearable for me. The story is fine. I'm sure the story itself will be as good as the first book, but... the narrator is going to ruin it all, at least for me. Really am sorry, just ... can't handle it.

Book 2 is better than book one and book one was good
I believe I would buy an audiobook of Tim Campbell, reading Accounting , 101 and would need a moment to myself afterwards the reading of the book they put passion and feeling into it, and it makes it wonderful. The story is great. The readers are amazing.

Great plot
I enjoyed this one much better than the first!! Definitely more revelations & twists!! The plot was steady and captivating and there was also spice!! Also enjoyed the multiple POVs for this one!!! Definitely brings so much more to the story. Can’t wait to dive into 3!!
