Great story line

Loved the storyline! Loved the set up for the next book. I love how he always has a part of her!

This might her best book

Loved this story! Great listen. Loved the readers.Might be her best book yet! Recommend it!

The male narrator ruined this one for me

There is zero reason for Jason Clarke to affect growlier and growlier voices for each character. His normal voice, which we hear in the credits, would have been GREAT for this character. This is the “booktok effect” where the narrator is more concerned with getting on viral reels for the growl than accurately depicting the character. This performance pulled me right out of the story which sucked because it was a great story. Tessa, don’t hire Jason again please.

Omg I love this book! I loved seeing Eve and Madden come together. It’s almost not the traditional marriage of convenience story because it’s not exactly the focus but it’s just so sweet. The heat between these two is spicy. Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke did such a good job with the duet narration on the audiobook. You get Jason Clarke with an Irish accent! I will absolutely read/listen to this book again!
