Good story

I’ve been a fan of Abbi Glines for years, and her books never disappoint. She’s such a kind and genuine person, and it’s been amazing to see her grow as a writer. I really enjoyed this series, especially getting to dive deeper into Ky’s character, who I’ve loved since he was a supporting character in other books.

That said, I did feel like this book was a bit shorter than expected. I finished it in just a few hours, and for the price of an Audible credit, it felt a little pricey for the length. I think Audible could consider offering a box set for shorter books like this one, which would be a better deal for readers. I’m not knocking the story, just want others to be aware before purchasing. Overall, it’s still a great read, just be mindful of the length if you’re buying with an Audible credit.

Genesis and Kye

I am loving this smoke series!!
Genesis and Kye are childhood friends and Kye is so protective and loves her so much. I really loved their story and how it all came together.

The audio was so good. This is performed in a duet by Jacob Morgan and Juno Cooper they both were amazing. Highly recommend the audios for this series.

I Love This Series

Why do I love this series so much??? Let me tell you that I can't get enough of this world that Abbi has created, and I never want to leave.
This is Kye's book, and he has a story to tell. You do start in the past, and it shows the build of Genesis and Kye's friendship. They have this bond that true best friends have, and I am here for it. This friends to lovers book set in a Mafia world is amazing.

I was hooked from the first moment I listened to this book. I have been waiting for the audio of each one to listen to as they come out, and I love this one as much as the others.
Jacob Morgan and Juno Cooper do a great job with this one. I haven't listened to Juno before, and she will now be on my list to listen to more. Jacob is a favorite that I always enjoy listening to.

I love this series and really love the audio to listen to.

This story features Kye and Genesis. They have been best friends since they were 7/8 years old. Genesis was the tomboy best friend that kind of got overlooked until she didn’t. There other best friend, Bowie took notice and made his move.

Bowie and Genesis were in love, until a bitter misunderstanding separated them. Now years later they get a second chance.

This story follows their transformation from childhood to adulthood and all the messy things in between. Genesis was a bit messy and she was my least favorite character until close to the end. The dynamics between the three of them was mostly on her. I feel like she put Bowie in the settled for category. She loved him but I am not sure if she was ever in love with him. He was always second to Kye.

Kye was living his mafia life. Plenty of women and danger. He wanted Genesis but not st the cost of their friendship. Life had a way of fixing things and making decisions for us. Kye had to grow up and put others first and he did what he had to do,

I think all the characters grew and finally got what they deserved. They put the readers through a lot of angst and turmoil getting there.

The narrators were good. Kept the story flowing and added the proper amount of emotion.
